@BassmrDK I tried the ps3 version the other day, and I thought so too. But that is until I just tinkered with the TV settings, after upping the contrast I saw no difference at all. I don't see why there should be though really, I doubt Crytek would bother making 2 slightly different versions of the same game. The Pc version is obviously the best though.

New York is a boring city. It's been overused in movies, tv, and video games. So why Crytek think it was a good location for Crysis 2? Me thinks it's because EA wanted Crytek to release the game on consoles. But consoles wouldn't be able to run the complex geometry of a tropical island, would they now? So Crytek decided to set the game in boring, old Manhattan because the geometry of urban areas would be easier render.

ALL the versions suck if your gonna have a console war have it between Xbox & PS3 because the PC is NOT a console its a whole other thing. Both the console version are pretty bad but now the fan boys of PC are not over exaggerating thanks to the 1.9 patch we get DX 11 and brand new High-Res Textures. SO the PC version is the best but f or consoles just go for the Xbox version although it has that film grain effect it does not have the lag issues.

is there a big difference between the grafx on the 360 & Ps3? even though I don't really play much multi-player (except gears & a couple others) I bought it for the 360 incase I did go online as I prefer the online MP on the 360 but this review said the grafx looked "almost photo-realistic on the PS3" & as I own both consoles I may have made a mistake , It would be good to know as the game is still sealed & I could exchange it for the PS3 version. I DON'T MEAN TO BE A FANBOY, but it is a known fact that the PS3 version of THIS game had some framerate and lag issues. He should've reviewed the Xbox 360 version, in my opinion. The 8/10 is kinda acceptable though.

@REPOMAN24722 Actually the graphics WOULD be better on a PS3 but most developers don't take the time to develop the game further to give it outstanding graphics for the the one platform, that's why EVERY PS3 exclusive looks amazing ... Pfft killzone 2 graphics look better then this!

@REPOMAN24722 Do you know how big the slow down is? Have you even played on the ps3? I've played on all 3 (PC included) platforms, and xbox has frame-rate issues as well, and on both consoles the frame-rate is not even noticeable. You are obviously a fan-boy - and fan-boys have no idea what they are talking about when it comes to this stuff . . . they are just jealous . . . stop being a smart-ass.

@TheSouthernPsycho I like PC best when it comes to FPS games but the 360 clearly has better hardware. twice as much usable RAM. 3 more (CORES) on the CPU and a stronger GPU.

@TheSouthernPsycho Actually their not, The PS3 has framerate issues really badly, The 360 doesn't but it has a horrendous grain filter bug that appears on your sceen after a set period of time.

@TheSouthernPsycho The Xbox 360 does have framerate Issues, but it does have a horrendous Grain bug that the PS3 doesn't, I'm a 360 gamer and I can honestly say My version sucks as bad as the PS3 version, you accuse me of being a fanboy? check you out reffering me to PC gaming and yet again trolling infamous nasty consoles! :O

@blondbassist Hey, I said the PS3 and xbox 360 versions are basiclly exactly the same (well they are different, but there is no one that is better). Now the PC version is better, but then again I think PC players/ fanboys over exaggerate a lot of the time, it's not good enough to be a hole different game, I would rate it about 3 tenths more than the consoles (and I would rate the consoles the same).

@SunBreaker6 Well he said the game had buggs, slowdown on the ps3 verson, npcs walking in place, objects floting in midd air. These things are negatives, and they stick out more if the game is this real looking.

@Sakeroz I'd have to disagree, yeh the PC came before the 360 and PS3, but a controller is designed mostly for shooting stuff, the PS3 controller even has trigger-like back buttons
