I must disagree that diversion is a 'not good skill'. i only say that because i use it all the time for pvp. Its obviously not as useful in RA, but in JQ the effect persists through death, so another 50 seconds before a bomber can 'properly' bomb, or a monk spamming heals, etc etc. combo with wastrels worry and you're sure to annoy people. Which is wat mesmers do! :)

I recall for a while there mesmers were seeked for pve-normally by players that had done thunderhead keep-on the fire islands we were really wanted. I find the players now are not as good as players from the past-just look how much they use firestorm, they don't find mesmers as usefull as in the past and it was bad enough in the past.
