Actually there are two 3D versions-DQ5 on PS2 (full 3D) and DQ5 on DS (3D world with 2D sprites- and this version I like the most).

I like the symphonic version of "melody in ancient town." It reminds me of the Faerie world that you go to.

yeah I know me to but I Love when the Clarinet part comes in at 1:16 because it reminds me of when Koichi Sugiyama would say he over hear something about his Loved one falling in Love with him then he goes out to find her after when toward the horizon comes on

The casino theme is underrated. It's not a bad piece, it's just not much of a CASINO piece. It should have been an alternate town theme or something. They could have brought back the awesome and more appropriate casino piece from DQ4 if need be.
