@Tony0xB Honestly, I really loved the Droid 1. I had it ever since it came out. I wanted to get the first Droid X, but they didn't have it for sale in the verizon wireless store so I got the X2. I know that I could have got it some where else, but I wanted a new phone. The first Droid was not giving me any problems, but I just liked the larger screen so now I won't have to squint to watch video's anymore. I am not getting the X3 because I just paid 200.00 for the X2.

so is moto blur just a custom launcher can could easily be replaced with launcher pro, etc?

@wowcolors Yes and no. MotoBlur does have a launcher, but it covers a lot more than just that. The blue notification bar, white settings menu, icons, and all that is MotoBlur. The launcher you can replace, but unless you root the phone, you'll still be stuck with MotoBlur for the most part.

This is one of the Android phones that I am truly excited and happy with. If I didn't have an iPhone, This would probably be the best Android choice at the moment.

Oneshotshooter, your probably right about the upcoming software update fiXing all these problems. But why continue to use a phone you HATE any longer than absolutely necessary? I've been without the X2 now for a week and a half and you couldn't PAY me to go back to it. It's SOOO AWESOME to have a phone that performs THIS GOOD right outta the box. My launcher is SPB SHELL that is HUGE at over 16 megs, and the Inc 2 blazes through it like NOTHING. If it were 4G..... FORGET ABOUT IT

I can't believe that even with all of the updates the D3 has it still redraws like the X2....luckily I am rooted and supercharged now and have no problems :)

Looks slightly better than the X2 on your device but the customer owned device I saw had all of his normal apps onboard from his previous device and it lagged every bit as bad as the X2 and still had 3-4 random reboots per day...... SOOOO glad I switched to the Incredible 2. This is hands down the 3G device of the year for Verizon

@4g63mark 2.3.4 update is coming soon. It will, or would have, fixed all of those problems.

camera takes a sec to load because its pretty hardcore, it records in 1080p and have you tried the panoramic mode? much smoother and fast on the d3 than any other moto phone i have seen

I upgraded from my original Motorola Droid (I used Launcher Pro on it) to the HTC ThunderBolt because I've wanted HTC Sense for so long, even though the new Blur isn't as bad, I still love HTC Sense so much more

Man, good reviews really good reviews. I was saying just press quadrant just press it. With blur and all that bloatware that thing will make it rain with a OC and kushie rom. Oooh boy 3500's D2 @ 1.4 ghz. If that thing hits 3's its a monster. Solar charging

@themrjones I rather trust in antutu or qualcomm benchmark testing then quadrant since i tweaked my gs to score 2k. And that isn't possible.
