Does the A/C know when it is at the TOD? It's just there was no decent announcement until I was about to land and it told the passengers we were basically on final approach and then the crew prepare for landing announcement was played. Also there are no immigration announcements or fasten your seatbelt, What am I doing wrong?

on my POS INIT page i dont have ref airport and i cant type anything. ive got all the updates and the AIRAC 1102 which is the current AIRAC. any ideas?

As for the cost index, make it realistic. Go with a low number, anywhere between 10 and 25 :D I saw a video of a Delta 737, with a cost index set at 17. It is amazing what airlines do to save money :P

I don't know why but every time I start flight sim X for the first time and do my first flight, QWPAS never starts. I have to end the flight, reload the flight and then it works the second time. I do everything the exact same both times starting with the parking brake, then door, then execute flight plan. Suggestions to fix the problem?

their were 3 things I got confused about? 1. What is TED, is it an airport? Or can I put any airport in that box so the plane follows a certain flight plan ( such as KLAX, if i put it in the box where TED was put in, will i get plans to klax? 2. should i use the vnav autothrottle mode? 3. If i put therunway im going to land on , will the plane follow the glideslope to the runway?

Very nice aircraft, only one problem. My VNAV does not follow the altitude restrictions on departure. Once VNAV is switched on, the aircraft climbs at +6000 FPM until it reaches the altitude in the select box on the A/P select. Why is this?

I noticed that it doesn't model mach speed in 3 digits like the 767 does such as 0.795; also it doesn't show the Optimum and Maximum Altitude on the CRZ page. That information is either missing or there is some set-up that I don't know about to get that to show up???

I love the Qualtiy wings aircraft though there are a couple of questons/glitches:

Can you please make a toutorial ofr auto pilot as my speed hold doesnt work and i cant use the verticle speed indiator with the altiude hold

theres also a glitch where the nose of my aircraft keeps going up even when i dont tell it to. finally i dont know how to activate the quality wings control panel(is there one?) please answer im really desperate.

Excellent model and textures, Sounds are 9.5 out of 10... The rest really is a disapointment... QW 757 has so much potential to be a near perfect sim but their idea to simplify the systems was a total mistake. There are too many companies out there releasing all eyecandy aircraft with flight models and sytems that are F2004 default aircraft standards.

I bought this when I first came out and have to say I was rather displeased with my purchase. I mainly felt like I paid for a basic aircraft that had hardly no system depth with a bunch of different paints that the community could have provided and the dev spend more time on the plane itself no Hooter paints. This plane leaves a lot to be desired. I WILL NOT be picking up their 787 as the product again lacks a lot and for the price you can get much more simming plane for you money. Truth told!

The manual even goes to the depth of explaining the real 757 works and how our product may differ. A lil research prevents hurt feelings for all you "Systems Experts" out there ;-)

Eh for every one person who doesn't like it, there are 100 people who enjoy flying it and have no regrets at their purchase... I do my research, but since Corey Ford was the main person who was working on this at QW, I knew he had done work with POSKY so I knew it would be a good plane.. I bought it no sweat and glad I did...

@qualitywings Oh no hurt feelings QW, I've wasted my money on much worse addons based off high expectations. I don't mind supporting new developers if product seams hopeful and in hopes investment is able to help further expand future products from them. Not to mention if the add-on is geared for my genre of flight simming. Research had Nada to do with anything more the being curious about it, now I'm not curious anymore.

I also purchased quality wings and think its a truly GREAT addon! The addon is great for what it does. Not every flight simmer wants to read a manual the size of a bible to get up and running. Not every flightsimmer wants to set up the INS system manually and go throught a 1 hour checklist run before ready to take off :). This simulation is for "medium complexity" simmers like me, who prefer a aircraft that feels realistic, look great and has the main systems simulated. And frame rate friendly!

@RStickMan22 Well I bought it some time ago after I became a 757 pilot for a Virtual Airline and I have to say I'm very pleased with it, it's a lovely aircraft and does exactly what I command it to do, Granted I wont buy the 787 simply because I enjoy the 757 too much

Thanks for this - I wondered how many bases were covered in the QW fms - pretty comprehensive. This a/c is definitely on my radar. And I cannot imagine what is remotely 'creepy' about this voice - sounds like a lecturer.

@qualitywings Thanks - I'm basically looking to replace my old 'medium' standard, the PSS757. I think I'm getting an understanding of the differences overall. I like what I see of the QW, certainly LOOKS far better inside/out.

@6y298 Apologies. Made the assumption that you were already an owner. The PSS 757 did some nice things system wise. Things that only peopel that really know the 757 would appreciate. But of course, the visuals left much to be desired. But they did do a pretty good job of adding a little consequence to the button pushing. They didn't just let you click everything without the correct outcome. Many people associate just having the ability to click a switch with system depth.
