Samachablo is Georgian ancient land, people just read the history...even tskhinvali,akhalgori (which was renamed leningori after lenin)and other titles of cities and villages are Georgian...does anybody know when this land was renamed as south ossetia? it was in 20 th century, by Russians...only uneducated person can tell that Samachablo is not Georgia and if u say prove this, if u do, we and the whole world will recognize u as an independent country...

I watching such sources as BBC, euronews and, of cource, russian channels, listen to georgian officials and their videos to form my opinion about this conflict. And You? First of all, genius, it happened in 1991 not 1998 and that was due to the fall of the Soviet Union where as everyone received a new passport representing their new sovereign nation. Under UN international law South Ossetia should be kept under Russian military protection not Georgian therefore Georgia violated international law.
