We have been to Disney many times over the years.Yes it's a little pricey but it's money well spent.I can honestly say we never had a bad vacation there.
@999Phineas There are two track lines that run through the hotel. One is the express line which runs on the inside track, this does not stop in the hotel. The second line which runs toward the outside wall is the local line and it stops in the hotel.
It may be hard to see this line because it is on the far side of the platform and not easily viewed from the concourse.
@stormrider66 I think you probably did solve 999Phineas' question, but to be more specific, if you look at the monorail line from above, the INSIDE track, moving clockwise is the "Local" train that stops at the Transportation & Ticket center, Polynesian, Grand FLA and Magic Kingdom. Outside, or counterclockwise track stops at only T&TC and Magic Kingdom.

I stayed at the Conetemporary on December 6 2006 I believe so all the Disney Christmas Stuff was up in the Magic Kingdom. It was a wonderful and magical experience!!
Its far from tacky! Though I don't like the bathroom doors because they don't shut all the way because they slide, but the service is excellent, the view of the Castle is beautiful, the monorail going through the building is very convenient.
I love that hotel! I stay there every time I go. I usually get the highest floors facing the MK. I will be staying there for a week tomorrow. I cant wait! I suggest you try to get the MK side cause the view of Wishes is the best!

When I went there were these German women and we were on line for Soarin in Epcot, idk if you went on it but they have these short game kind of things while you wait, and one of them was to pop the bubble or something and they're not so tall so they were like cracking up because all i had to do was throw a my hand up to pop one and they were jumping and couldnt reach! Ah so funny lmao

When I was there this last December if you can see to the left of the rail you see some stands of the lower level (4th) they had a completely mini store there, seem like the just built there since this video.
I can't wait to stay here for my 15th birthday with my dad. I've been to Disney soooo much but I still haven't stayed here. Im stoked!

It may look tacky on film or pictures, but believe me, set foot in this place, and you'll see it's FARRRR from tacky. It's a beautiful resort.

Thats funny, i never see any monorails actualy STOPING at the contemporary. Someone please help me Do they stop at that hotel?

Yes. I've tried a lot of different dates on the Disney web site and it STARTS at $280. It's usually around $330 when I get results.
