This song was THE BOMB when it came out! I can really appreciate the way Slim adds his own sense of flair to the male singing part, as opposed to simply mimicking that of the original version. Anyhow, I always wondered what happened to Allure; I found them to be very sexy young ladies who possessed strong enough singing voices to succeed in the business. I had heard that some issues existed with their record label, precipitating an eventual divorce. If such an ordeal occurred, how unfortunate!
