  • The perfect western world is built on blood!!

  • 130.000.0000 people looking for a job in the oil industry......well paid I asume, switch of USA soap tv and return to the real world Nigerians, birth control could be an answer to start with.

  • @hottapper actually 154,000,000

  • "..these communities(Niger Delta), due to large-scale corruption, looting of the public treasury by the leadership at the center remain largely underdeveloped. The poorest of the poor live in these communities,..their hope dashed, their future traumatised and their children without any future. Soldiers of Northern origin are posted to these territories, as expected, they rape the people..kill them and instill fear in them." -- Liberty Forum, London. -Guardian Newspapers. Thursday July 17, 2008.

  • "Nigerians if you allow them, will hail an armed robber. I mean an armed robber, who can distribute money. Some people say yes, he(Yar'Adua) stole but he is distributing. He stole from the rich and gave to the poor. I mean some people can say this...there is no evidence to hope that there can be success because who is the president? This is someone who has not distinguished himself.." ---- Balarabe Musa, Former Kaduna State Governor. Daily Sun. Monday June 2, 2008.

  • "People know that Nigeria does not exist as a true nation. But our leaders are fraudulently holding up to the country because of the oil in Itsekiri land, in Ogoni land, in Ilaje, Ijaw land and Urhobo land and in some parts of Iboland. There was a civil war in this country and the fight was mainly to hold on to the oil(Nigeria's goal). What is holding this contraption called Nigeria together is the oil ..our people has been used.." --- Asari Dokubo. Nigerian Tribune News Sunday August 17, 2008.

  • Lookie, lookie here Chrischigoz, you and your ilk are on the wrong side of history. We the progressive youth are trying to stem corruption and unite the whole of Africa so that we can survive the next century. You racist, trialist, bloodthirsty, warmongering pieces of rendering wants to divide Nigeria with huge repercussions all over sub-saharan Africa because of your selfishness and pride. To hell with you, to hell with your ilk. You can never succeed!

  • Biafrans7, you are nothing more than a failure, a desperado that has gained nothing than to advocate for war. Africa wants to unite and you rats wants to divide. You are the real traitors, the agents and the fez wearing fifth column. You will never divide Nigeria and throw the country into a deadly war. Your ilk shed the first blood in Nigeria. Do it again and the repercussions will be swift. You are on the wrong side of history..SELFISH RATS!!!!!!!

  • Biafrans7, why don't you people solve the human right atrocity in your backyard? Why don't you emancipate the Osu caste?

  • To solve this problems, the west and ppl who buy this oil should stop buying it, that's the solution, they fuel corruption, and they say they are helping us.

Stop buying our resources and there would be more peace.

  • The Nigerian government has been hijacked for 48 years by an ethno-religious and military cabal from its North. In 48 years, all elections and census are grossly rigged or violated. The peoples' clamour for a Sovereign National Conference has been disdainfully ignored while corruption has ushhered in a 400 billion dollar plunder of the public till as murder and genocide had remained culture for 62 years. This is the result of an ill-amalgamation of desperately divergent nations.

  • wot d fuck asian media reporting shit about nigeria. u motherfuckers need 2 mind yr business, u all dnt not shit about was going on in niger delta so mind yr fucking business cuz u aint shit uall need 2 be making report on terrorist not us. n u motherfuckers aint rich so stop talking about aid.

  • carpond01, you truly need to carry yourself much better in public forum.

  • Kudos to the men of the Joint Task Force (JTF) that kicked out the militants in PH.They did a splendid work, and i hope they hunt the rest down.

  • Nigeria dont even know how much crude oil is drilled by the oil companies.

  • Riiight.....I'll agree with your point if only you ment the barrels of oil smuggled out through illegal bunkering and theft from pipelines that are located within the creeks. But the govt keeps an eye on each oil site controlled by the oil coys.

  • demmy100 you can't be more correct! Al'Jazera has taken onboard thesame 'specie' of people who run the mainstream media alway ready to indulge in there intentional dirt throwing. Give the news but why your opinion? We are sorta use to the CNNs, BBCs but not some arabic channel spewing out this kinda news...the terrorist, suicide bombing idiots! I will come back an African if given a chance between that and some 'Al Jazeera' person!

  • I wouldn't blame the Oil firms? What about our Govt, How have they invested the income generated from Oil.

  • more ignorant reporting. what is this infatuation with Nigeria recently.

  • what are u on about??? what is false about was reported in this documentary. everyone knows what the problem in nigeria is....GREED by the oil companies and the CORRUPT govt.

50 years after the first establishment was formed to develop the niger delta, the area is as poorer than it has ever been.

  • People think Africa needs aid. We do not. We need the oil majors to do the basic social responsiblity. If the likes of Royal Dutch Shell, Total have done the right thing by ensuring that oil spills and job creation were put in place, the Niger Delta would have not been a sorry sight today.
