  • This has long been one of my favorite pieces to play for fun. I've always played it with a heavier tone, but I think the lighter way you played was interesting, and probably correct!

  • I'm learning that piece right now. I can play almost as good as you. I had never put the pedal down for measures 28-30, though.

  • you did a real great job!

I especially liked it that you changed up the rhythm and the articulation. I like that there is a sudden change.

    It's more innovative! Good Job!!!

  • Can you make a tutorial? Sory for english but i'm italian! :D

  • This sounds so cool. I'm in the middle of learning this piece. It's really fun to play.

  • You look like you're very talented, however, you should make a lot more dynamic contrast, this is a really cool piece and I wouldn't agree that's it's a static song, it is a very interesting song if you treat it more delicately and grow in intensity in the dramatic part of the song.

  • Good job. Try to get those dynamics in there a bit more and you could speed it up a bit IF you want to 'challenge yourself' as my teacher is so fond of saying....otherwise nice!

  • i can listen to this so i can play it!

  • ...How do you know he has a great sense of humor....? Dnt tell me u met the guy.. isn't he dead?? xDD jk jk, love the piece and i like the way u played it.

  • I think it's great that a composer writes delightful music for intermediate pianists. These pieces by Burmuller are lovely and fun to play for us basic pianists!

  • This was an excellent performance, especially the beginning. I've been playing for about six years, and it is so hard it is to get a piece completely perfect. Keep up the good work!

  • good grief these people are mean!! This was an excellent performance, especially the beginning. I've been playing for about six years, and I know how hard it is to get a piece completely perfect. Keep up the good work!

  • how can burgmuller not be taken seriously ?

  • i don't know i don't get it ethier

  • is that the alfreds book??

  • learn to play with some feeling u know now u are bashing on the piano

  • Hey you did just great pal. It help to hear the piece.( I have it as this weeks lesson)

  • Nice! =] Been searching for this piece for a while now.

  • you really need to watch your rhythm...

but I agree with whoever said it, your piano has a lovely sound!

  • sehr gut!

one again .. NICE JOB .. I am at No 4 now form the book .. pretty hard !!

  • I LOVE IT

  • I played that when I was 7 and I played it better.

  • @Santogoldfan10 Maybe he's just screwing around. Could you sight read it today better?

  • isnt it ballade

  • Still sounds good to me. :)

  • lovely song. i played it for my solo and ensemble contest ^_^

  • I played that!

  • In my opinion it's a beautiful song.

  • Nice job on that. I like Burgmuller, he has a place in the literature.

  • you messed on the fortsando and the other stuff.

  • no pedle

  • Good job. Bravo:

  • good , but it definitly needs more feeling

  • Totally MP3'd that, good work, 10 stars

  • this was the first piece i taught myself, when i was seriously playing!

  • Good job! You have excellent control of your fingers in your left hand especially. Try adding some more oomph into the musicality and phrasing, and you can go far!

  • Bravo :)

  • I just recently played this song. Great Job! you sound a lot more controlled than i did :)

  • awesome job!

  • おっちゃん、上手いなー。

    俺も練習しようっと!(・_・;

  • im on level 2 and i know all the notes :P

  • i agree with musical nots 0:27

  • I played this song about 3 years ago, good job. If you liked this, why don't you try 'The Storm' by the same composer? It's a blast.

  • currently practicing this

  • i onli bee n playin 4 3 yrs but i played that mi first year like omg

  • I can play this ...I already played it in my piano class and my class was suprised

  • I played this in level 5

  • i've already played this song and I did it alot faster than this though....

  • nicely played! It took me one day to put half of the song haha

  • but i still remember it after 5 years

  • you need to improve on the tempo but over all it was good . i had to play this in my first year .

  • iv'e played this one!! :)

  • no won gives a shit if your ten :] lol.

  • Im now 11 :P

  • i can play this

  • And the pedal in "B"?

  • I just passed dis song and now i using it for my test(I have to play music for my school)

    It was hard but easy

    I love dis song!!

  • hey that's my piano recital. hehehe

  • i played this song a long time ago. this is how it should be played.

  • i have this for a grade 4 piece...next week is my exam, is this exactly how it should be played?

  • i've said this to three other people so far that i've watched: faster! but otherwise great- would just increase the bpm by about 8-12.

  • i prefer slower interpretetion. Though some parts were played kinda slow but overall very good tempo. No need to rush

  • bien joué et un joli son!

    ton piano sonne très bien

  • I did this for a recital it was fun to do!

  • A little bit too mechanical...needs more feeling

  • in the C major part you're supposed to play your left hand really softly, like background not like a waltz with 2 melodies

  • Thank you for posting this! I'm currently learning the song, and though it's a simple song the beats are so strange that it's good to hear it more than once.

  • i love this song. ^_^ my personal fave composer. especially his minor scale music and his more...how should i say....his more gloomy songs.. if u get that. XD. but anyways BRAVO!

  • you are probably right but it is not the way I hear it

  • awful full of mistakes and so static

  • It's a static composition. As a composer, Burgmüller can't be taken seriously.

  • @Klangzauberer Give me a freaking Break!

  • @Klangzauberer i don't agree: i think burgmuller is a really nice composer, he cem make really funny and enjoyable things without beeing too difficult to play (op. 100, op 105 abd 109 are harder, but really very nice)

  • @snowyyyyyyyy not really that awful.... I am no better then him. he is like a pro for me. That was kind a rude to put it in a nice way

  • I just learned this peice for a recital!!!

  • I'm doing this now too. I'm a very auditory learner when it comes to the piano, so this is what I do in my spare time.

I don't know why I have trouble with the time signature in the very begining. I can't get the right hand to keep a steady beat.

It all comes with enough practice.

    Good playing by the way.

  • You seem bored when you play this.

You need to incorporate your whole body when you play; it makes it a lot more fun.

  • @RebelxProductions yes it does look more fun but its also stupid and how can he concentrate on his playing when he is too buy thinking about if he looks like he is having fun ?

  • cuz i've never had lessons - lol little you dont need lessons to play piano haha..

  • im learning this song now. :) i really like it, and its fun to play. im not as fast as you, cuz i've never had lessons, so its still easy to mess up, but its a fun song to play and listen to.

  • Yeah I agree.. a bit too fast.

  • I play this and I don't play it this fast... You can add much more drama if you play it a bit more pronounced and slower. Just my opinion :)

  • i played this and sorry but tits too fast for me!! ;(

  • I just noticed my comment and I'm sorry, this was not me. You're really great!

  • kinda slow, but still awesome!

  • u were going 2 slow @ some parts.

  • I know. At one position I have built up a 4-beat, where it is supposed to be a 3-beat, like I said in the description.

  • This sounds fantastic but it's such an elementary piece, which is great because it's easy to learn but sounds exceptionally complicated. Is it a Wurlitzer....

  • this is not an elementary pice. what are u tawking about?

  • I guess this piece needs proper fingering, strength in the hand and fingers, controll of the wrist and each hand's strength. That all sounds is pretty basic to me. I played this piece when I was around 9 for the piano guild and this piece wasn't even considered to be in the very first level of intermediate playing. (But is was in one of the very last levels of beginner.) I don't know what is considered "elementary" for sure, so I am probably wrong. That depends of criteria too. My mistake.

  • What piano do you have? It has a wonderful sound!

  • Muy al azar

  • ...

  • Well played. Put some emotions in it, and exaggerated the dynamics.

  • I think this is a funny piece, too! It's one of my favorites to play.

  • there was no sF> on the a's in the left. the pauses were to long on ur cords after the stacato octives.

too slow on the part were the both hands play exactly the same. but other wise very good. work on the cords and itll be better ;)

  • very true!!! i play this song too but i mess up on the part in the begining where ur supopsed to cresendo gahh i can never get it!!!

  • me too! my fingers always slur or just stop moving.
