Check out the list of countries where Xbox Live is available and choose the closest country to yours. On your account update your country and address to one that is in that country. This way you should get a pretty decent connection and you will get access to Xbox Live. Enjoy Gaming!

@Kamikazee011 Hi no problem thank you. The menus should upgrade automatically when you log into Xbox Live. The Xbox dashboard shown in this video is actually an older version, there was a recent update with the release of Kinect. To answer your question however, all you need to do is hook your console up to Xbox Live and you should receive the update automatically. Hope this helps

1) sign in to xbox live.

2)go to account management (your default membership will always be silver)

3)go to the option which says-"Redeem Code"

4)type in your 25 letter code and then your membership will automatically change to 12 month gold membership.

It may be that the Xbox live servers are too busy or that your account information has not been filled out correctly. Best advice we can give would be to give them a call. They can pull up your account and in most cases resolve the issue.
