  • i see thear t in "gummo",i recomend everyone watch it.

  • Great review, you have a clever insight! A++

  • @yoferrris Thank you, Im glad alot of people share my thoughts and care for the movie

  • I approve

  • A +

  • I'm not 17 so I cant rent this movie I was wondering if I could see this on the internet anywhere? I stayed in a little town in Arkansas that was just like this place it was almost surreal if I saw this movie before going their I woul have thought that no one lives like this......anyway I was just wondering if I could buy see this anywhere

  • just go and try and rent it, if you look 18 they don't ask questions

  • awesome

  • Interesting review...

  • Thanks

  • both great movies! you probably think those are as raw, gritty and shocking as it gets. another movie written by harmony korine and larry clark you should check out is KEN PARK, by far the most shocking movie ive ever seen. you wont believe what you see on the screen.

  • I've already seen Ken Park a long time ago. It is also very good but I think it's more serious than Kids because it shows what the parents and gardians are like and why the kids turn out the way they do.

  • I dont know where any of you live, but this film was shot in my hometown. i will be the first to say that it as accurate a depiction of that area as i have ever seen, i felt like i was reliving growing up, the chair wrestlers looked like my old neighbors.the kitty vagina/dancing on bed scene felt like my old girlfriends house, the dialogue is spot on.

    just an outstanding film.

  • with hilary schwank

  • great vid. i haven't seen it yet, but i've seen Kids and parts of Bully. if you like Harmony Korine's stuff, u should check out "i viddied it on the screen" for some great articles/reviews on "gummo" and "kids" by alex jackson.

  • This guy is great speaker.

  • Excellent review man, excellent review. I own that film along with JULIEN DONKEY-BOY. GUMMO is one of my favorite films of all time. If you get the chance, you should check out JULIAN DONKEY-BOY. It's a much more difficult movie to like and to understand, but once you get past all the grotesque, nasty, weird behavior, it's a really provocative film. JULIAN DONKEY-BOY is a very challenging film and it's hard to really understand and to watch, but check it out once you can. You will not forget it.

  • I enjoyed both parts of your review very much, thanks! I'm glad you have the heart to appreciate Gummo for what it is.

  • I like Gummo a lot, but I actually kind of prefer Julien-Donkey Boy. Could just be because of my bias towards Werner Herzog the great german director who acts in the movie and has this incredible way of speaking. I could listen to that guy talk for hours. Harmony Korine and Werner Herzog are two of my favorite people at the moment.

  • Kids and Gummo are both great, Julian Donkey Boy not so much. Good video for sure.

  • great video 5/5

  • Chloe Sevigny was actually dating Harmony Korine at that time and she was also in all 3 of his films. She was in kids, gummo and Julian Donkey Boy. I love Gummo, especially since it's so spontanious feeling and documentary style and I can identify with alot of the characters and living in depressed areas like that. That's just life and you make the best of it, wrestle a chair or a midget, have fun. lol. Great review man, great video!

  • Thanks, I appreciate you sharing that, it gives even more support to what I was saying.

By the way, how was Julian Donkey Boy? I still never saw it but have been meaning to for awhile, is it good like the others?

  • Julian is okay, my least favorite.

  • I saw an article about this in a DVD magazine once and wanted to see it ever since. Its not out here, it probably never will be but I will have to download this. Looks great.
