i must comment, once again, that your interpretation of this piece is nothing less than masterful. anytime a beautiful melody is presented against elaborate ornamentation that takes on a life of its own, the organist is challenged to preserve the integrity of that melody. you have done that so very well. the listener is able to enjoy both the melody and the ornamentation equally. bravo!
How I marvel everytime I hear this piece of music. You do a very fine job of playing it 'Messjuh1" thanks for posting this God Bless You. Is this organ in your home?
This was one of the first pieces I added to my little collection, and I listened to it over and over again, esp. to calm me down. It is wonderfully done, I love your way to stress the sweetness with your registration, and your courage to play it as it should be ...so calm, so peacefully, not trying to exaggerate anything...Thanks once more.
your interpretation of this difficult to play musical gem is nothing less than superb. so few would think to make use of the tremmed 8' principal. i believe it to be one of the nicest sounds the organ has to offer. i would love to hear you play this on an instrument that contains an 8foot "voce umana" (italian principal celeste) so the theme could benefit from that subtle undulation. what do you think?
Thanks. My organ has an Unda maris in the main, to be used with the Principal. But I thought as a solo stop the principal alone works best. Celestes are most impressive when the whole piece is played on the manual with the celeste.
I have chosen to use your setting of Rosymedre as a prelude at the memorial service for Marianne Caverly (1943-2009). This will be an interfaith production of the Unitarians and a Pagan Coven in Lewisburg WV at the Lewis Theater, 22ii10. Your espressive playing, in contrast to most others, is clearly sensitive. I see your feeling in your face, tender and loving--just the tone to set the mood for this significant service. Thanks. George Exoo (Unitarian Minister)
Such a sweet music - fills my heart and yes, I heard this music played at Thanksgiving Mass by your previous writer. So beautiful. Thank you for making my day, week, month.......
"Oops." Thanks for making an error so the rest of us don't feel totally outclassed! Your playing is notable not only for its technical accuracy but your depth of feeling.

I agree with Gremlingrump... this is the best on youtube right now. You make it sound easy, and it rests the soul to listen to it.

this is among the most beatiful pieces of music
ever written. searched through (nearly!) all the
'offerings' on Youtube, and yours is, without doubt,
the most gorgeous. calms me, when fraught!
thanks.

Comments on the piece. It sounds easy doesn't it? But in truth this piece can be a monster to play. There is so much going on.
