By the way Shia's tone of voice sounded and the word that came out of Megan and Shia's mouth, I'm judging No. But then again why would they have a random pole in the middle of the road. He could be a decepticon or simply Ironhide, Bumblebee since they are not driving him or Ratchet or a new guy coming to meet them or someone we just don't know yet.

Random pole in the middle of the road? It looks like a light post in some grass. It is off to the side of the street next to a sidewalk (light) crossing the main road (dark). I know it looks deceiving.

Mocadog is right. I don't think it was planned. But in the first movie there was a lot of the use of that word. If you look closely, it's not in grass. It is in the middle of the road. I think in another direction, Megan looked over (cuz she was driving) and saw a robot and didn't pay attention so she crashed into it. Then again, it could BE the robot. It does look deceiving doesn't it? We could all be wrong!
