All this stuff can happen anywhere, and has done in the past. It has nothing to do with the internet. This is just another medium where people do what they chose to do. He has been paid to promote some bloody opera that deals with these issues and he is doing precisely that. Talking bollocks because someone is paying him to do so.

@MrDoremouse I don't think it is waffle. He is talking about how a growing, online, collective conciousness could be detrimental to the human psyche. What people indulge online tends to, much of the time, appeal to our very base instincts.

@thegarbeen Fair enough. But then again, it doesn't take a genius to say that much on the internet is bad. And if people are attracted to, say, bullying others on Facebook or whatever, that's only because they're nasty sheep. The net hasn't made them that way (has it?).
