@goodygoody23 glad you mentioned ted nugent - he is severely underrated. He plays with 3 fingers like most old blues players, but he has some serious speed and energy! hibernation is one of his best solos and im surprised it doesnt receive more credit. Nice list albeit the nuge being left out! Oh and jeff healey too, you might want to look him up :)
@LordAzai Boy he was tough to leave out. Since I made that video I've realized that there's just no way to only choose 15 guitarists, that's way too narrow.
@jacoblroark i could tell you the tales of woe ive been through haha but im gonna get to it along with a few other lessons. Sorry for the incredibly long dragged out wait
please post a list I'm interested in your opinion.
By the way, thanks for not calling me names, like everyone else loves to do. Shows a level of maturity, you know. So post a list so I can compare my opinion to yours.
Phil Keaggy is surely the best guitar player, he is able to play all styles of music, he have recorded more than 70 albums and he is the best jam man player!
He is EXTREMELY talented. If you look at my top 7, it was hard to rank all of those guys in order, because all of them are also extremely talented. Though I've always believed that Hendrix was WAY ahead of everyone else.
I had a tough time ranking those two. I mean Phil does cover hard rock, soft rock, acoustics, and many other styles. However, I've never heard him produce as smooth of a solo as Santana. It's a tough choice.
well i already watched and based on the two lists i guess that our musical taste is quite different since i am more of a metal guy, that was why i was going to suggest dimebag darrel, anyway i respect your list
I've never found the shred/heavy metal guitarists like Hammett and Dimebag as talented as some of the old school guys like Clapton and Vaughan. It's just different tastes in music, making neither of us right. Please make a list though, I am very interested to see who you put on yours

There is not here the one who he could wipe floors with almost all the guitarists in the list.

Better song suggestions:
SRV - Tightrope
Clapton - Hideaway
Brain May - Brighton rock
As for Blackmore try Light In The Black

Why the mistake with David Knopfler picture instead Mark Knopfler?
sansasan 2 years ago
I got them mixed up. I though Mark was the singer and David the guitarist. I just think Mark is better.

yeah I had him on my first list
I just don't know enough of his work to decide if he's a top 15 guitarist, although I love Highway Star

Go to my new vid called "Who is the greatest guitarist" and vote for him there. I made that vid/poll for people like you who love a guitarist.

I sorta feel like Phil Keaggy covers many more styles than Santana, thus deserving to be ranked higher than him. Any thoughts on that?
