  • ALI was both...ALI said simple universal truths tailored them for Black people....He knew that in his position, he could influence, motivate, encourage, teach and lead by example....BEST OF ALL, HE FEARED NO MAN, ONLY HIS GOD.

  • I think he was both. He was an eloquent speaker your video it's an perfect exemple. He did helped the black comunity because he give them an exemple of how a man no matter where he is from can become anything he want. And he did say ,, I free to be what I want". He was like a blacksuperman . And even today he still motivates people all over the world. He has a reservoar full of goodwill that makes him the most recognized person on Earth.

  • i love ali

  • Was Ali a leader, or eloquent speaker? In the documentary: "Soul Power", there are a cast of other famous Black Americans from James Brown, B.B. King to Bill Withers, the list goes on!

All these people helped the black community in some way--but did Ali help poor black american children the most?

I want your opinion, but back it with facts. Review the people in this documentary. If you lived during this era, please share your thoughts!

  • @mbusch77 Just the poor american black children? No, not just them. Ali was such a figure who inspired all corners of the world. Sometimes too much attention is given to your poor black children. There are other third world children out there who need help. Ali helped everybody equally. We all love him.
