  • You are very welcome and you have a great week :):)

  • Very good to know that thank you :):)

  • @DAZUPYOU hey Derek: I see this from time to time; it's not a big deal, but you don't want to see any kind of a leak in the not to distant future. Thanks for commenting and have a great day!!! Al

  • Have found a few of these over here in the U.K where they have tried to solder with some water still left in the pipe.

And half socket joints where they have put together too much of the job before going back on themselves to solder up having moved the pipes.

  • @WayneBurgess1 Hey there; you are correct there Wayne as it only takes a few seconds to make sure the pipe is inside the fitting all the way before you put a torch to it. I have come across many myself I must say. Thanks for commenting and have a good day! Al

  • Thank you for sharing another great tip. Much appreciated.

  • @Corrie121 Hey corrie; Just a few little things there not to do when doing a bit of soldering. Hopefully, we can all learn a thing or two here. Thanks for commenting and have a great day!!! Al

  • Hey Al !!!

Wow that looks like it could have been a real problem !!!

    Fantastic Tips my Friend !!!

    Another Great One Al !!!

  • @fritzhvac Hey fritz; They were just lucky it didn't pop off when they were not home for sure. If I did that I wouldn't get out the door before it would start to spray. You just have to take a few seconds to check. Thanks for your comments fritz and enjoy the evening!!! Al

  • Wow, that's bad. I'd bet the guy melted the solder directly with a torch rather than heating the fitting up and having the fitting melt and wick the solder inside it.

  • @pquackenbush Hey there; You know that is a great point. Many people make that mistake. You MUST place your heat on the fitting, remove the torch and then let the solder run. Great call bush!!! Thanks for your comments and have a great week! Al
