But majority of the tribes that came with him to Central Asia were Turkic. Mongol rulers of the Golden Horde were completely turkified and real Mongols were a minority in Golden Horde. Even the name Uzbeks is of Turkic and not Mongol origin. The fact that a Mongol ruler of the Golden Horde had a Turkic name does show how assimilated Mongols were in that empire.
