No but I think SRK's character had to die, as much as we love him. He did bad things as well. Sometimes in revenge, people end up doing the same bad things that they are trying to avenge. And they have to pay for it in the end. He was a tragic hero.

Please don't attack on me if when I say this. The way the movie was directed and formatted, I don't think they really had much of a choice but to kill off SRK. I know a lot of people wanted him to live but I think it's his death that made the movie so phenomenal. That's just my personal opinion. Great movie till this day.

this movie n darr both these movies made shahrukh a legend n in both these moives he played negative roles, these 2 movies were the most imp movies of his career n those were the early days of kajol too. how quickly time passes. i was a school kid when this movie was released n i used to watch movies on weekends those days movie's rent was 10 Rs. at that time for a day n i got it on rent several times. ah those days, still recalling them, now i m in UK.

I like this movie, but plot of this movie is just stupid! Why would Kajol care about SRK after she finds out he is the killer of her sister. First thing she would do is to wish him dead! I agree, I've said this lots of times, he should stop doing Romantic Hero's and go back to Psycho Villains....he's soooo much better at it. I think the Shahrukh we see in Darr, Anjaam etc is the true Shahrukh. Those are my first memories of him.

Agreed. Look at his performances in films like Om Shanti Om and then look at something like Anjaam. You can really see the difference in quality in terms of his performance.

We just had My Name is Khan which I think is the best performance of his career, so let's just hope he keeps going in that direction and turns back into the great actor he once was.

Don 2 is coming up soon so lets hope he pulls something out of the bag with that one.

Yea MNIK was indeed an excellent performance but I thought srk's acting was heavily inspired by Dustin Hoffman's in Rainman. (but thats not necessarily bad)

Don 2 should be good but SRK should only do one of a kind films now that have an overall msg and are not so centered on his performances. MNIK sorta went there, bust RNBDJ and OSO were just srk fests. SRK should work with Raju Hirani and make another masterpiece like Munna Bhai or 3 idiots, enough of Karan Johar, Farah Khan and Yash Raj.

To be honest the first Don really disappointed me in terms of Shahrukh as a villain. I was expecting a Baazigar type performance but it didn't happen. I found him quite cringe worthy actually as I have done in KANK, OSO and RNBJ.

I'm just hoping in Don 2 we see something closer to his earlier villains. But I'm not holding my breath. Something tells me he's lost his touch with negative roles.

And something tells me SRK will never leave Karan Johar, Farah Khan or Yash Chopra.
