Have you seen Lifeforce, Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter, The Hunger, Near Dark, The Forsaken, Vamp (1986), The Keep (1983), Ravenous etc. The best vampire movies you've never seen, WATCH those please and you'll be suprised as they do portray different than the norm vampires before Twilight and you won't be disappointed.

It's cool and a refreshing take on vampires, you gotta see it man and even has a race of vampires from space who were the ones behind the vampires of legends. Cool concept eh? and would you compare Martin to Edward Cullen for being a emotional weepy vampire? and you glad Martin didn't sparkle?

Though I'm not a fan of Twilight, people before our generation were saying when movies like this came out "just think, we go from great vamp flicks like Nosferatu, Dracula with Bela Lugosi, Horror of Dracula and other Hammer horror vampire flicks, to shit teen vampire stories like The Lost Boys and Near Dark, what a shame." It's all how you look at it. Or wanna look at it.
