How does the cannon work?

I have a few questoins. how many motors does it have, and were are they? And is it a 1.0 or 2.0? how many pieces does it have?

@the4georges How many pieces? Your guess is as good as mine.

It contains pieces from a mindstorms NXT1.0 kit, a 8421 heavy loader, and a 8285 tow truck.

How many motors? 5 in total. 2 NXT motors to drive, 1 to rotate the turret, 1 black lego technic buggy motor lifts the gun, and another buggy motor powers the gun.

How-it-works video is underway and should be on in a few weeks.

The rattling/ vibration you can see/hear on the video is caused by the suspension system. (which is pushed in when driving forward).

But you have got a point, the suspension only runs smooth at higher speeds.

Unfortunatly not, it is a custom built model and can't be bought. You can try to buy a lot of LEGO TECHNIC, and build one yourself.

Actually, I haven't found a room big enough to test the range, yet.

I either hit the ceiling, or the opposing wall. For maximum range, the bullet reaches quite high an altitude. I wil certainly let you know when I find out.
