"Do you know who Stephen Harper is" Bob, " ahh no" Unfortuanately for 4 years all of Canada now knows. Major asshole scumbag. Welcome to asshole Canada.
@wovokanarchy You are making too many assumptions here. I called Liberals pussy, left wing, commies. Where do you get that Bob is a liberal from this video? Just because he didn't know who Harper was doesn't mean he knows who Ignatief is.
@wovokanarchy Whos retracting his words? And whos the one talking shit over the internet? You may wanna find out a little about people before you go shooting your mouth off about who can kick whos ass. You're just pissed that I called liberals pussies. And there's nothing here to indicate Bob is a liberal but you just made an assumption that he is.
@wovokanarchy You must be suffering from some kind of old age related dementia. You are projecting your own beliefs onto Probert and acting all offended because the person I really called a pussy is you. And you are a pussy. Talking shit over the internet. The difference bewteen us is that were we in the same room I'd call you a pussy to your face and there isn't shit you'd do about it. You'd keep your big mouth shut and walk away.
@SCROGY You'd be like Claude Lemieux turtling like the yellow belly coward snake that you are. I'd be laying so many fist in your pock marked face..you'll be crying for Harper and his wanker neo-Cons to enact legislation for me to stop.
@wovokanarchy No THIS is how it would go. I'd shoot a double leg on you, then you'd try to get back up. I'd transition to mount or side control and then let you try to escape by turning to your knees giving up your back. Then I would get my hooks in and apply my hips to keep you flattened out. Then I'd pull on you forehead to get you to expose you neck. Or maybe just work the choke on your jaw so your only option is to lift your head exposing your neck. Rear Naked Choke, you go to sleep.
@wovokanarchy LOL......you can't punch a guy in the face if he's turtling now can you? Maybe try learning something about fighting some time so you don't say such stupid stuff in the future.
@wovokanarchy So you're going to land upper cuts on a guy that is curled up on his elbows and knees hiding his face with his hands/arms? Please come and show me this technique you have perfected over your many years as a martial arts expert/pro boxer. I would love to see this.
@SCROGY This is one of the funniest arguments I've ever seen on here. First of all, the Liberals are fucking idiots. 2nd. Bob Probert does not mention his political beliefs in this video (stop assuming he's liberal), 3rd, you guys both look so stupid in this series of comments, that I cannot come up with anything to describe the hilarity of the content within it.
@17MJG93 Did I not say that he doesn't mention his political beliefs in the video (several times in fact)? Secondly, this guy started threatening me, which is hilarious because if he had simply looked at my profile he'd have known to keep his mouth shut. Third, the liberals are idiots. Agreed. Anyway, back to the damn video.
It's interesting that he said told that story because I used to go to IHL games a lot, and when my family and I were going to the gift shop in the arena (before the game was over), some of the players who were kicked out of the game for fighting each other were socializing and having beer together. I got autographs, which was exciting because I was a little kid at the time.
@jscottrockford Yeah that is pretty big. He seemed like a good guy with a big heart but had issues with drugs and alcohol. Favorite player ever along with Mario and Al MacInnis
What a class act! How many famous athletes can admit their problems openly? More than that, he seems to have always had the time for anyone. When I heard the news of his passing, it made me realize the game I grew up watching is gone forever :-(
What a class act! How many famous athletes can admit their problems openly? More than that, he seems to have always had the time for anyone. When I heard the news of his passing, it made me realize the game I grew up watching is gone forever :-( You are missed Probie

Bottom line.............Probert was the baddest SOB to ever lace 'em up and drop the leather. He played his roll like a champ and could play the game as well. Rest easy Probie!!!
@enfrcr27 fuckin right man...bob probert always will be the greatest enforcer of all time...what seperated him from the heard was his ability to put the puck in the net and points on the score board...and his ability to destroy any opponent in his path...yeah he may have lost a few but name one fighter that didnt lose a few fights...ya cant win them all...but probie man fuck yeah my fav of all time in his prime he would destroy anyone
@bullfighter42 Last I heard it was quite a while, exact year amount I can't remember. But he was clean for quite a while, I believe since his last 2 years in the nhl.
GONE WAY TO EARLY....everyfan everywhere truley i think had a place in there heart for you....thank you for bringing us so many years of entertainment
As a Flyers fan, we always appreciate hard workers and tough fighters who protect their players. Bob Probert was the toughest player I ever saw. Tough loss. RIP big bad Bob.
You have to be one tough guy to be an NHL enforcer. It is amazing to me that these guys do not have brain damage. Anyway his passing at such a young age is tragic.
Wow, he felt bad after knocking down Bob McGill and bought him a beer after the game! What class, too bad those kind of players don't exist in the NHL anymore.
RIP Bob you were awesome NHL will never be the same I'll miss you even though I'm a kid all of the NHL will miss you role model for a lot of peopleI wish you were still here.... My best wishes to him and his family
As a Wings fan I remember many nights at Joe Louis Arena when #24 would patrol the left side of Steve Yzerman and Joey Kocur would have his right wing. Add to that Harold Snepsts on the team at one point and there were MANY looooonnnnnggggg night inside JLA. Probert and Kocur, Detroit's Famed 'Bruise Bothers'.
Thanks Bob! I know you had your demons in life, we all do, but yours played out publicly.
I totally agree. I loved hockey (NYR fan) as a kid in the late 70's though the 80's and mid 90's. The watered down, shoot-out, pussy NHL of today makes me sick.
@eveready666 The shootout is just there to garner interest from casual fans I can't stand it either (NYR fan also). The league is awful now imo but they don't cater to the hardcore hockey fans at all anymore.
Seriously, the Wings should have retired his #24 in respect for one of the greatest enforcers and audience magnet in the NHL and certainly in the Red Wings!
I think they would have had Probie not had his drug problems. People forget he was actually a good hockey player with the Wings in addition to being the best fighter ever. I would have loved to see Probie and Gordie Howe fight when they were in their prime.
Being a little kid in the early 90's I absolutely loved the Red Wings. As much as I loved that team I was afraid of Probert. Still liked him as hell though, but he continuously scared the shit out of me.
You're thinking of PCP, dude. I'm sure Probie did most of his lines off the ice...it'd be pretty hard to maintain a coke high for a whole hockey game.
Last time I check I never saw Probert shed off all of his clothes and start fighting imaginary people on the ice......which PCP would surely do. Probert admitted to doing coke in the locker room at MSG. Thats why he fought Domi on his first shift, he was jacked and ready to go............wow I haven't looked at this one in a year! Thanks for reading my comment. Wow a lot of Probert fans out there with the 4 negative thumbs down LOL....
probert was awesome. the wings weren't all that great in the eighties, but probert put asses in the seats. it was fight night at the joe when he was playing, and this city loved him. this guy was a throwback, and a great symbol for what hockey has lost. he has had a huge impact on the game, and hockey in detroit. He doesnt get the credit he deserves. he was more than just a fighter, enforcer. much respect bob. your name is synonymus with baddest mf'r in hockey's history.
whats with all the Leaf fans with thier "what if" or "imagine if" questions...wendel clark isnt 6'4"...domi isnt 6'4"...Probert IS 6'3" and he kicked clarks and domi's ass
Bob transcended the physical side of hockey like no other player before or after him. Laraque and many of today's top fighters can barely play 2-3 minutes a game on the 4th line, much less having a fight that was actually worth watching. In my opinion Probert was just as important to hockey in the 80's and 90's as gretzky and mario lemieux.
Best fighter ever? Could be, but imagine if Wendel Clark was 6'3 240 when he played. Pound fo pound the best all time... Wendel Clark. Hell, he beat Probert up once and fought to a draw in another didn't he?
I met Bobby last year. He's a great guy, and very polite. A big kid at heart.
He might seem like he's high or a little out there, but you gotta ask yourself, if you took 1000 punches to the mug, would you be all there? Chances are, you'd be worse off. And yes, he had some demons, and probably still does. Can you blame him?
Ehhh. He was with the owner of the bar, inviting jailbait waitresses to his house, and he signed my coaster with 'Do your best, Jimmy' and I told him my name was John. The dude was high as a kite.
Bob is awesome. I hope he's done doing coke though, he's older now and the ol body can't take that shit. Did you hear Feelgoods is closing down? I gotta go back for some beers before she closes down.
Not trying to argue, but looks can be deceiving. I had a couple of stints with nose candy and I could hide it well. My close friends couldn't tell unless I told them. Unless you really know what to look for, i.e. from personal experience, it's real hard to catch someone who's trying to hide it. No disrespect to the man though, I idolized him growing up and he was super cool every time I met him.
What a great fighter, and not a bad player either. Probert and Kocur were the best one two punch ever. Not sure who was better. Probie was great but Kocur had that scary right hammer. Detroit was lucky to have them.
George Bush said when you buy drugs you support terrorist...Hey, and lets all face it, Probert bought a ton of Drugs....His Drug money, more than likely help fund the Sept 11th terrorist attack.......Probert Supported Terrorist.

45skyfire 2 years ago 3
I wouldn't say he kicked Wendel's ass. Those were some good, classic, tilts.

Hell, he beat Probert up once and fought to a draw in another didn't he?

i concur, clark could play hockey too

I met Bobby last year. He's a great guy, and very polite. A big kid at heart.
He might seem like he's high or a little out there, but you gotta ask yourself, if you took 1000 punches to the mug, would you be all there? Chances are, you'd be worse off. And yes, he had some demons, and probably still does. Can you blame him?

Like a lot of high profile sports figures he had his demons of the ice,but when he was on the ice he done his job 110%,great guy...

Probert has always had that blinking twitch, not sure if he's still doing coke nowadays, he's like 43 now

I saw him at Feelgood's in Windsor last year. He was definitely doing coke that night.
FartScrap 3 years ago
You don't know that for sure. If he was on coke.
cbarrett34 3 years ago
Ehhh. He was with the owner of the bar, inviting jailbait waitresses to his house, and he signed my coaster with 'Do your best, Jimmy' and I told him my name was John. The dude was high as a kite.
FartScrap 3 years ago
ok, i take your word for it, obviously the guy has/had a bad problem, hopefully he's sober now

Bob is awesome. I hope he's done doing coke though, he's older now and the ol body can't take that shit. Did you hear Feelgoods is closing down? I gotta go back for some beers before she closes down.

hes DEFF not doing coke.. hes one of my best friends dad and he suree dosnt look like hes on anything
huskydog27nicky 3 years ago
Good for him. Bob is A-1 people man.
