this was one of the coolest moments in history. funny how they got things done in those days and spent money on things like this and spent less on social programs and yet there was economic growth and low unemployment and optimism and greater income equality.

and oh yeah, unforgiven down below seems pretty desperate to feel smarter than everyone else. those moon landing conspiracy people are just so sad

Wow, what a nice delusion for you and the majority of the masses. Astro, and solar physicists laugh at dumb asses such as yourself. It makes sense that three guys, read from a book of fiction, while on their ficional missions, in what we all now know was a complete fraud. Well, those of us who are awake and understand the radiation laden space within and beyond our magnetosphere!

This is super great! I can't wait orbiting this marvelous creature of God. Surely, these astronauts chose a perfect message to send to people on earth, to always remember that this all was created by God Almighty, and that what we, people on earth, do is just discovering what God made and put around us.

Unfortunatelly things have changed, now the message would goes something like this: In the begining a singularity begun to expand or exploded, they don´t even agree on that...and some billions years later, here we are as product of a Big bang, which according to S. Hawkings God is not needed at all...

@danieltangent Everyone reads it different, but wasn't God who put them there. It was bloody good engineering by the American Aviation Industry. One million bits working together and doing their job. Like we are supposed to be doing.
