  • if a guy screws you on 2 K's of powder, drop 4 tons of sand on them.

  • 2:13 epic win face

  • damn i want to go to miami now just hit the highway with this or crocketts theme playing driving the highway to miami

  • I always thought this was the perfect Miami Vice episode. At the time, this was one of my favorite songs and it fits perfectly with this episode. Although, it hard to believe that Sonny would be cool enough to dodge the bullet with that steel lined briefcase. The whole episode was great! Also, one of my favorites.

  • Michael Mann was and is a genius; there's no show in the last 20 years that cops such a great attitude. And both dudes and duds are grand.

  • amazing show!

  • 1:32 That sound is IDENTICAL to the pistol sound used in Grand Theft Auto (1).

    Just had to write that.....

  • 4:49 what the bitch!!!

  • I just love the stare that Lieutenant Castillo gives Federal Agent Joe Dalva!

  • 4:19 = better than Horatio Caine hahaahah :D

  • Young people might think the show was cool, which it was. The problem is was real, I live in San Diego, next to the Mexican border, whether you were involved or not, the drug smugglers and dealers were always ready to take what was yours. It was the "Wild West" with out any romanace. Luckily most of it was chased back to Mexico, where they are killing each other everyday.

  • Was that Tommy Wiseau?

  • wish i could shoot nugent. ;p

  • Miami Vice had excellent directors.

  • I love how brunete dosent say a word in this video

  • The artistic genius of Michael Mann. Along with Martin Scorsese, he knows how to match songs with images perfectly.

  • @Thorion1969 I don't know about Scorsese. His best work was Taxi Driver.

  • @kingomar69 Scorsese got hired to film the Band's farewell concert for The Last Waltz because Robbie Robertson felt he knew perfectly about matching music with film. Goodfellas is a masterwork of 30 years of songs capturing the emotions of the story.

  • They shot Uncle Ted! You bastards!

  • I still remember this ending with this song. I love this song...

  • It's like a western scene... Crockett was prepared and he was faster!

  • Great scene from "Definitely Miami", one of the best episodes from one of the best years a TV Show ever had, Season Two of Miami Vice.

  • When bland scenery (sand) can be the framing element in a televised scene, added with a dramatic tension that pulls a whole scene together, one that you can see & feel ..... damn ! Why can the fag idiots in Hollywood not just repeat formulas of success? This stuff was gripping and made you respond from a gut level. So much for 'welcome to the plastic age'........

  • @CosmopolitanFools You just answered your own question in the form of a question.,......Why can the fag idiots in Hollywood not just repeat formulas of success?

See that's the problem right there.......trying to repeat what Hollywood accomplished during the Golden years. Look at all the flopped remakes and sequels we've been getting around 2007 and afterwards.

  • @audioproducer88 audio I'm split on this issue. If hollywood chose not to remake (and or reinvision) stuff fromt he 80's i think they might have been more successful. If , for instance, hollywood chose to continue the miami vice story and made no connection to the original show , then maybe it might have been better recieved. its hard to explaint he durg market these days to people. in the 80's, it was all about badguys and coke, now its any and everything.

  • I love this!!! Takes me right back to a time when things were simple, days and nights were long and fun, watching Miami Vice was one of the things that made it all the more special, thanks for posting this !!!! brings back memories !!!!

  • what a lil vixxen she had those beat cops wrapped around her finger...

  • THOSE PANTS!

  • Ive watched this video a 1000 times. first time I realize crockett doesnt say a word in the entire video.

  • is that Ted Nugent?

  • @sabbathtage25 Yes, that is Ted Nugent...

  • @sabbathtage25 Yes it is The Motor City Madman...

  • there will never be a program like this again, if you were there, then congratulations, like me we had a good time in the 80s

  • Even almost some twenty years later they still haven't topped scenes like this!

  • Who knows the name of the song ?

  • @DidkinPeev Godley & Creme - Cry

  • Was there anybody cooler than Sonny Crockett in the 80s,blows a geezer away then blows off stunner without a word, just shes about to beg him to go back to her gaff he puts his Ray bans on.SEE YA.Now thats COOL!!!!

  • ja sam vise puta reko da je ovaj TV sou najbolji na svijetu i da mi je ovo najdraza epizoda tako da uvijek moram pohvaliti ovaj kraj :D

  • Luv Sonny's Gun sound BOOOOOM BOOOOOM !!!!

  • you know watching Miami Vice couldn't get any sweeter!

  • thank you so much for posting one of the geatest scenes and shows of Miami Vice. Arielle Dombassle in her prime (here) was one of the hottest women to ever walk this planet! Great call!

  • Miami Vice, the best series ever, made me want to move to Florida from England, one of the first things I did was drive to Miami and just look

  • @Dinghy247 I looked too

  • otkad nisam gledao ovo......

  • Jeden z najlepszych moim zdaniem seriali jaki powstał przede wszystki dobór aktorów Tomas and Johnson no i oczywiscie soundtrack rewelacja - oczywiscie wszystko z pod reki reżysera Manna - mistrzostwo swiata

  • This one episode is without doubt the best episode of the series. It is so perfect. And i love this song too. They cannot make a show this good anymore. Love Miami Vice!!!

  • i will put al seasons of miami vice on my you tube account i let you know when I do that untill then enyoye in wheateing :D

  • @HellsHord exactly ...couldnt have said it any better ;o) i love the stare

  • 14 people missed the 80's

  • great episode and score 20 yrs later like this version of godley and creme's cry sounds surreal. Lieutenant Castillo's angry stare was epic so much said with silence. great writing that woman was just a black widow burying her gullible male victims in the sand. before sonny could turn his back she was already trying to seduce the cop arresting her. sweet and potent is pretty poison it'll get you everytime.

  • @HellsHord I know what you mean about Castillo's contempt. Edward James Olmos nailed it. Especially when you factor in what we learned about Castillo in later seasons.

  • @wildturkey1960 Olmos' Castillo was brilliant.

At the end of "Out Where the Buses Don't Run", when Weldon calls Tubbs to tell him he has Acaro, Tubbs tells Catillo "Lt. we're gonna need back up" Castillo frowns and says " I know what you're going to need" He then calls Weldon's ex partner Marty.

  • @endgammer Let's face it... Miami Vice was just the best show on. Ever...

  • @wildturkey1960 not was, is

  • @1985SonnyCrockett Yes, I'll give you that. It is...

  • Ive watched this video 100 times, this is the first time I realized that sonny doesnt talk one time in this whole video. -__-

  • Miami Vice is definitely the best TV show ever!!

This is one of the best episodes. I want 80's back....

  • @starbearry hey you know this is a great ending. the steel briefcase, the stare..shes so nasty,he needs a checkup..gots to lay of the bitches crocket..

  • uncle ted!!!!! seems like yesterday watching this episode yet its been the best part of 25yrs weres the time gone

  • Miami Vice - THE BEST there is, was and ever will be.

  • @DonCrockett Yeah buddy!!!!

  • "Man... it's so hot, you could fry an egg on my face! ... "

" I hope I never get THAT hungry!"

  • @LabVIEWFL where is that from ?

  • @manwithouthat44 Beginning of that same episode

  • lol Love the 80's, this Kenny G looking dude comes out from nowhere with a blazer with no shirt on.......only the 80's LMAO

  • @DominicanOps That's Ted Nugent numb nuts.

  • "Cry" by Godley and Creme

  • Bren Ten, baby!

  • You know why this show was so good ? Because drug lords helped finance it. They also were the screenwriters.

  • @TheZagiello what are you talking about ?

  • Holy crap was that ted nugent..XD

  • There will never be a cooler show on television than Miami Vice.

  • Edward James Elmos letting his mustache do all the talking for him, yet again.

  • @Spirit0f LOL - A very wise statement!

  • Crockett knows how to deal with heartbreak... put on sunglasses and walk away! I always do! ;)

  • No Nuge is good Nuge.

  • Que buenos recuerdos me trae este video

  • The Nuge did'nt have back up? WTF?

  • I cant live without look it 2 times on day

  • @TheVector98 I suffer from the same illness.

  • Uncle Ted is pure evil.

  • Agent Joe Dalva...you made a balls of the situation.

  • Is this the best ever episode of Miami Vice?????

  • @Nixter1974007 It has to be in many's top 5 or 10, at least.

  • Ted nugent & instant whore @ 4:54 .. I remember this episode, one of my favorites . Women are deceitful

  • I think id rather watch the wiggles

  • I don't like "Miami Vice". It makes me think too much. I am happy with dumbed down predictable repetitive crap like "Law & Order", "House" and the 5 or 6 versions of "CSI".

  • Perhaps the BEST Vice eposide EVER! This was great on many levels: 1 First time I can remember Sonny getting his ass kicked ! 2.Shows REAL life info on how MOST men are suckers for beautiful women.3.Shows the power of beauty in the WRONG hands.4.As usual, the best sound track show ever! Great post!

  • It seems like yesterday I saw this episode for the first time.Every Friday night, I would look forward to watching this show, what sucked was that I was in high school and I was so tired from the week of school, I would fall a sleep .Our VCR was broken, my folks waited almost a year before they bought a new one, they didnt want to drop $400 bucks for a new one. Yeah I said $400 bucks, that was a cheap one too.

  • MIAMI VICE: NEON NOIR

  • perfect song selection also. The whole show was perfect at times,

  • One of the greatest pieces of visual art ever created. Cinematic perfection , where every part connected to the whole. Bravo

  • man ted nugent got shot like 50 times

  • i love miami vice gijoe989.

  • Ahhhh, takes me back to my high school days when, if there weren't high school football or basketball games on Friday night, I knew where I was....in front of my TV watching Miami Vice! Yeah, back when there were things worth watching on a Friday night!

  • Cooler tha cool ! Loved it , its about time virgin run them on cable then i can record the lot ....

  • Godley and Creme : cry

    great song!

  • Ted is officially hunted and gunned down. I guess, this means Crockett and Tubbs can eat him. As Ted says, It's better than eating processed meat.

  • To this day MIAMI VICE is the GREATEST SHOW OF ALL TIME. Hands down in my book. This is my favorite ending to a Miami Vice episode. I mean, I watched it once back in '85 and never saw it again for 20 years - when the DVD collection came out in 2005 - and I ALWAYS remembered it. A better show there will never be. Particularly the first two seasons. Thank you to everyone involved in making that show a towering achievement.

  • @Demonsterful man, I always cry becose those times are past

  • @TheVector98 Yes sir. Indeed they are past.

  • @Demonsterful and I agree with you

  • @Demonsterful My favourite were the first three seasons. The first 2 feeling more larger than life if anything, while the third was more "Law and Order" esque, (which makes sense since Dick Wolf Produced it, or had something to do with the series). I watched the fourth season and I didn't like it, stopped watching it halfway through.

  • This show was the the shit wen i was growing up......

  • Holy crap....they just gunned down T. Nugent.

  • Man I live only to se all episodes of Miami Vice on TV

  • God I miss the Friday nights in the 80's....now its reality shows like fake housewives of who cares where and bubba the tow truck driver. I hope heaven in 1983....over and over again

  • @control202 Amen to that.

  • @control202 Amen.

  • This episode and the song...>ROCKED!!!

  • Miami Vice...one of a kind, and nothing will be as good as there series was! Not to mention the great soundtrack it had.

  • I don't watch TV, don't even have a converter box, but if they brought back reruns of Miami Vice, it would be the first thing I did! I was a young teen who wanted to be a cop and I lived for MV. I also had such a crush on Don Johnson and seeing him in the video now... well, he was a very good-looking man!

  • 4:55 I LOVE IT WHEN HE WALKS

  • @MasterJediKyleKatarn crocket was too beach punk rock for ol dirthead ted.

  • Thanks for the upload and memories of watching MV as a kid...

  • I Love Show, The Movie, And The Song But It's A Pain To find The 6 and a half minute version of Godley and creme's "Cry"

  • Notice the revolver on the hip. Before automatics became de rigeur.

  • Of couse, a rifle would have dropped the perp in one shot

, but it wouldn't be good tv.

  • It's Ted Nugent!

  • good christ it's the Nuge! Wango Tango Motherfucker

  • Its hard to live a double life....a lie if you will. Right , wrong , or indifferent.

  • @showalter4042 been married twice, you ain't gotta tell me

  • @flattop44sc I agree it would of been nice to see my lying, cheating ex wife picked up and carried away in a helicopter when she realized I found out who she really was.

  • please stop and just enjoy!!!

  • He gets shot about 10 times and there's no claret anywhere WTF

  • To me this is the second best scene from Miami Vice, the Crockett and Tubbs cigarette boat ride to the Bahamas (Voices) is hard to beat. The look on her face when she realized Sonny was a cop is awesome. Love how he put the sunglasses on to blow her off. I always kind of felt bad for Sonny his personal life was always so messed up. The end scene with Crockett standing on the beach reflecting back on his life looking out to the ocean is sad I think he really liked that woman.

  • @mattiemjk The Cigarette boat ride with Voices might be the most amazing f'ing scene I saw on TV. I nearly crapped my pants. I was a nerdy sixteen y/o that had pimples. Crockett and Tubbs were two handsome men that had hot women. They were my idols.

  • cops sucked even back then. crocket was a crime scene investigator. big difference actually.

  • @TheNewMusicNetwork

Duh. They didn't have CSIs back then. He was an undercover narc.

  • @SmackintoshSr <--------DUMB FUCK,

They had csi's they were called investigators, you illiterate cock polisher. Crocket did both, not narc, he went undercover and investigation of deaths/crime scenes.

  • @SmackintoshSr They didn't investigate crime scenes? Tell that to Scotland Yard.

  • @Defenseman619 Huh? Your subtlety surpasses my powers of interpretation. Sorry.

  • haha that bitch ted nugent went down

  • @TheNewMusicNetwork His character was extremely overconfident but when Crockett's Bren Ten came out it was all over for the long hair.

  • The acting was easily as bad as the writing. The genius was putting on a weekly 1 hour music video.

  • yeah ted is dead finely!

  • This is one of my favorite episodes in the series. I like Crockett's line about having the head and the heart at the sdame place at the same time, just once; this great song song really accentuates his earlier statement. Goes to show that no words need tro be spoken to get a point across.

  • I just watched this episode the other night. Ted Nugent is one heck of a bad- ass, and the ending is just awesome.

  • Like they say VICE IS NICE---What a great series....What happend to the scarab boat it was really a great boat...great series great show....

  • Godley and Creme......wow.....Vice is the best. Splashing on Lagerfeld, Members Only Jacket on the ready, and Vuarnets ready to take down evil doers.....

  • man, I remember, I watch this episode 2 months ago on TV............evrythyng I just wanna is be back in eightes

  • Yep, the '80's were excellent. All the time in the world, cheap gas, cheap booze and the girls had no cell phones and only a few had cars... so we had the pick. Disco was crap. Don Johnson was in a great movie called The Hot Spot. I wish I was back in the '80's too. Hell, gimme the '90's!

  • @moyadapne lofl the 90s sucked so bad but early 90s was cool.

  • Miami Vice would have made a perfect Video game if it came out in the in the 80's when the show was still on.

  • still cool, man brings me back, loved those wayfarers

  • no matter what you do, and where you go, you will NEVER be as cool as Don Johnson in Miami vice

  • The best of Michael Man's..., SUPERB!...

  • A poem. Beautiful scene.

  • @jbresland Yes , a visual poem

  • This was my favorite show in the 80's but, the series went on too long and it lost it's edge. I don't even remember how it ended.

  • Hard to accept that this is nearly THIRTY years old. Decrepit is what I am.

  • @cosmicdingo Hey dont worry i'm with ya, regular TV nowadays is un watchable, I get DVD's mailed on old series to avoid watching TV.

  • Amigo Muchisimas Gracias Un Fuerte Abrazo Y Me Gustaria Que Algun Dia Pueda Chatear Con Tigo!

  • It was the '80's and this show was so cutting-edge for its time, and so many stars made an appearance, Ted Nugent of course, and Phil Collins and Glen Frey, young stars like Kyra Sedgwick, Julia Roberts, Liam Neeson, Dennis Farina, Melanie Griffith, Stanley Tucci, Bill Paxton, Michael Madsen, Bruce Willis, Ving Rhames, John Turturro, Penn Jillette, Pam Grier,Nathan Lane, and then there were the greats, like Little Richard and Eartha Kitt! Remember when Frank Zappa guest starred?!?

  • MOTOR CITY MADMAN....MACHINE GUN TED NUGENT!!!!HELLO FROM TEXAS.BORN IN FLORIDA....HELL YEA!!!

  • I was living in Miami Beach in the 80s and this series added to the special vibe of living there during the best decade of the 20th century (I know, this is subjective). It was a great time and place to be a teenager / young adult and Miami Vice made it even more special. The best cop show ever !!! Have been watching the entire series on DVD and Hulu and I am on season 5. An epic series that ends along with an epic decade. I know I will cry during the last minute of the last episode!

  • @80srule4ever I hated seasons 3-5 of Miami Vice which is why I always stop after season 2 when Im watching the series.

  • @PopCulture20 what did you dislike about it? real question..just want to hear you critique..

  • @joeblowthehot Well I felt seasons 3-5 were not consistent with the comedy elements, fashion taste, & sensible story lines. To me 3-5 just didn't measure up to 1 & 2 which made the series what it was and plus season 2 was when Miami Vice got all those Emmy wins & nominations so you know that was a big year for the show.

  • @PopCulture20 thankyou for reply..Iam going to watch the whole series for the first time..and i will keep what you said about 3 and 4 in mind!!..take care.. JB

  • @joeblowthehot Sure and I would love to hear your feedback as well on 3-4 when you're through watching them.

  • @PopCulture20 I scimmed through them...GOD you are so right..woof...

  • @joeblowthehot LOL what episode made you decide to not watch them?

  • @PopCulture20 But try to see it from a different perspective, as the times were beginning to change and give way to the 90s. The seasons are not bad (3-5), sure there are a few episodes that were not the best, but trust me that if you watch the entire series, you will gain the sense about where society was heading towards the end of the decade.

  • TV went down hill after this show went off the air......

  • One of my five favorite episodes ever! The Nuge and Don Johnson...two of the coolest dudes ever.

  • Brilliant episode from the best series ever,i like the way crockett is business at the end of it,instead of fancying the silly girl.

  • "☆☆EPProductions 2011 ☆☆"

  • A police helicopter and TWO cops to bust some blond bimbo on the beach?

  • Comment removed

  • How many times can i watch this clip? Too fine.

  • love it.. . whos the artist ? and the name of the song ?

  • @rojonas1980

The song name is ''Cry'' performed by the British lads of ''Godley And Creme''.

    grtz

  • Fucking awesome sauce!!

  • its episode 14, season 2, i start watching this when I see this episode

  • Yeah "Out Where The Buses Don't Run" is terrific, lots of
