I have a Rottie chow mix and a pomeranian as well. We were looking for a pure bred Rottie when we stumbled across Chloe in a pound at 8 weeks old. She is the most wonderful dog and she has a personality all her own. Agree with you it is an odd combination but mine make it work too they really do love each other
great clip... made me laugh. I reminds me of our own. They're such great dogs. But yeah, very territorial. Unfortunately ours was abused by its previous owner, and really does not like other dogs. Wish ours could play with other dogs :-( All the best.
ours is exactly the same. i came in from work at about 2 in the morning and he couldn't see me so he nearly attacked me, and probably would have if i hadn't put the light on!
Thanx, he's a really great dog, very gentel and a big goof but if someone comes on to the property he switches to guard mode untill we say its alright... VERY well behaved dog, we are blessed to have him.
Rotty's are real funny goofballs.

So Gentle in Play for their Size, so Loving and affectionate, and will protect you to the last. A fantastic breed. A pleasure to hear about your dog.
