Maybe I look like an idiot. I am surprised that European Water Voles (Arviola terrestris) or Silver Studded Blue is endangered in UK but I have ralized that it is an island kingdom and with regard to it is situated to the border of all European species range (exclusive circumpollar ones) no wonder that many species that are in Central Europe considered as common are endangered here.
Are you hoping the land that has been turned over will grow like that on the fringes. For what I can see it it not that successful to date. All the best :-)
