@racer135790 you have to stop to activate the locker in ford. you cant go that fast while its locked because you can damage it. the z71 g80 locker activates and deactivates on its own.
iv proven my locking rear works on my 2008 2500 duramax Z71. i was backed in a parkin spot with a snow bank beside me. as i left i purposely put my right rear on the snow. it spun for a second. then both tires locked and the left rear barked cuz they were both spinning and i took off.

Nope -- limited slip only from the factory. Locking differentials are available from aftermarket mfg's.
