I've managed to get a shiny Golduck on a chain of 2; unfortunately I hadn't thought of recording the capture. That's a 1 in ~6810 chance for those of you who were wondering; that's not much better than the chance of a shiny random encounter.

Very nice! Personally wouldn't try this since it would feel like it takes away the random chance. However, I assume getting a shiny with chaining feels pretty rewarding :)

use repels

use patches are far away as possible (Obviosuly same style, common or rare)

try not to use patches close to teh edge of the entire piece of grass

why is there a limit or posting comments? anyway congrats on chaining dusclops i bet it took a few leppa berries or elixers or ethers to restore the pp of your moves due to pressure i prefer to chain duskull because it uses less pp cause it has levitate not pressure so far i have 1 duskull from chaining it! also i have my first full box of shiny pokemon most of them from chaining 2 from gts 1 from breeding w/japeness pokemon the rest from chaining on d/plat. i hope to sr for shiny azelf on d.!

Yeah, that limit is kinda stupid. Thanks and yeah I had to use a few. I actually also chained duskull a month or 2 ago. It has a 2% encounter so chaining it was pretty hard. Congrats on the full box of shiny pokemon. You probably have a ton more now. Good luck on finding more shiny pokemon.

I use it stickly for chaining because it has high PP moves for KOing wild pokemon and if I evolved it, it would lose the ability pick up.
