  • That was before PUR vodka.

  • @cracoviaaaaaa I love Luksusowa! pronounced LOOK-sue-SO-vah for those who don't know!

  • would love to know if you tasted crystal head vodka and your thoughts.

  • Stoli Vodka is the best

  • i tought grey goose was the best tasting vodka

  • Vodka can have color and taste. Maybe in the western market it's supposed to be pure but many vodkas in Poland and Russia have color and flavors. Just look up Starka which is aged in oak barrels or Miodula which is a honey vodka also aged in oak barrels.

  • SVEDKA!!!

  • Drink ROKK vodka!

  • chopin>belvedere

  • @redleg15

    бербон

  • Mr. Belvedere.

  • Crystal Head Vodka!!

  • all that said ... which one is gunna go down better for fast shot without the burn ... chopin or belvedeer

  • I agree!! Belvedere is very very smooth and a lot, better than Grey goose!

  • Wódka no Vodka:)) WÓDKA!!!

  • my ass...Grey Goose for life!

  • What the guy is telling about the odour and colour is just wrong! The traditonal way of making good vodka in both russia and poland was to age it in oak casks after distillation process! Also many vodkas have added flavours which can be nice!

In my opinion filtration is a marketing hoax and was introduced by such companies as smirrnoff! Why should you filter a natural product 10 times to have no flavour whats so ever?

  • @habacuk1985 If the vodka is aged in oak casks or something similar, you don't want to filter it. But if not, then you do, all that's doing is taking the impurities out of the final product. Vodka is the only spirit you want to do this with though, because in essence, all vodka is, is water and ethanol. All other spirits are distinctively flavored. i.e rum, gin, whiskey, tequila etc.. and will take out what your wanting to taste.

  • Belvedere my FAV vodka gg is noob status

  • you don't know shiet about vodka.. russian vodka is the best.

  • If Belvedere was a true Polish vodka it would have spelled Vodka with a W. Vodka is a tasteless spirit...you've chosen a bad choice of drink to become a connoisseur in my friend.

  • @dooovde

Realize that when the product is bottled to be exported to an English speaking country, the label is translated.

It is a true Polish vodka, cunt..

  • @tugsnap wow name calling?

The discussion is pointless anyway. No one here could TASTE the difference between Grey Goose or Belvedere or any other vodka...the only reason to buy a good vodka is to prevent the bad side effects of consumption.

  • It just pisses me off when someone says one of the best vodkas produced in my home country is not genuinely Polish due to the spelling of the word Vodka.

And yes there is different tastes in vodkas, or else there would not be so much stress put on the testing of quality. Some vodkas are much more harsh and bitter to the taste. The better the vodka, the smoother and easier the taste.

  • OK...about the W thing...I was just taking the piss out of a Wyborowa vodka bottle message...no offence was meant.

Vodka IS a tasteless spirit though...the goal in its manufacture is to make it taste of nothing....Vodka in Russian means water. You don't buy vodka for its taste.

  • Im not necessarily talking about taste, although vodka does have its acquired taste.. its more about the level of the smoothness of the drink, and some vodkas have a bit of, i dunno, spicy kick..

I dont know i guess you dont have a taste for vodka, personally i feel different vodkas have there own recognizable "flavour", but like a said not flavour by textbook definition.

  • @dooovde IT IS SPELLED WITH A W. i just bought it today and is spelled with a w

  • @eXpeII awesome

  • @dooovde I am from poland and Belvedere IS a polish vodka brand, it's distilled in poland and spelled with a "v" instead of a "w" because of the international marketing. Belvedere is most sold in the US. The flavoured Belvedere Vodkas are distilled also in poland but also in coorporation with france. You can be sure Belvedere and Chopin Black are the best vodkas depending on taste in my opinion ;)

  • crystal skull vodka...

  • I agree with a lot of the posts below. Some of my favorite vodkas's,,,,

Russian Standard, Belvedere or Sobieski (bottled at same facility)i , Chopin, Hangar One.

Grey Goose is alright but a product of marketing phenomena. Made in France because of the marketability , luxury behind it but true connesuir know that Poland and Eastern Europe is home to the best vodkas.

  • i like 42 below

  • Hmmm, imho the finest vodka from Poland is Wyborowa, really.

  • Wyborowa is also destiled in niemeiko.

  • belv, chopin, slava, stoli gold, and on budget.. Luksusowa, are my top 5.

  • Grey goose is swill. A product of marketing. I love the blind taste tests where Goose idiots all think Goose sucks when they have blindfolds on. Plain ol' Smirnoff Red beats out most anything in a blindfolded taste test. Haven't seen it against Belvedere though. Ketel One's nice. Have to give Belvedere and now HWV a try...

  • Sobieski is belvedere in a diff bottle and about 20 bucks cheaper. Same bottling company.

  • well, its not the exact same i mean, but its a really good one for the money.

  • @shlokda No it's not. Do some research before you make such wild claims.

  • @blahk04 I don't mean it's literally the exact same shit, but it's incredibly close, and has beaten out belevedere in plenty of tastings.

  • @deusXmchina I did a blind taste with 5 different vodkas; Russia standard, belvedere, smirnoff, grey goose and absolute. I thought smirnoff was the worst and grey goose wasn't far behind. Both vodkas have sugar added during the process of making them. Belvedere was the best out of the 5. But I'd have to say Chopin is my current favorite.

  • @Vicbartender1990

You're a mixologist, I'm a scientist; we both know our ethanols :) we'll have to agree to disagree on the Smirnoff like civilized men. I am interested in how the Russia standard was (not just where it fell, but if was any good), I've a friend into stuff with Cyrillic lettering, and had been wondering if the stuff was worth buying for a cheap gift- or if it was crud. And why didn't you put Chopin into your blind taste test? Be interested if u could separate from Belvedere.

  • @deusXmchina Russian standard is defiantly worth buying as a gift. I stock it as my "bar" vokda. On the topic of Chopin, I didn't have it at the time of the taste test. I plan on doing another taste test with different vodka's in the near future.

  • You sort of sound like Jim Hughson.

  • Belvedere tastes exactly the same as Heavy Water Vodka imo but HWV is slightly less expensive, so ill stick with HWV. HWV (and ofc belvedere) is my favorite vodka. I have not tried grey goose nor chopin though.

  • goose???? lol let the french make wine, belvedeer and chopin just hard to tell.

  • french dont make belvedere or chopin..

  • how can there be a best its opinion

  • yea its his opinion , and hes right , have u ever had any Polish vodka? its the shit but its kinda bull couse in his other video he said best vodka in the world was "chopin" and no he says its this one hm

  • Belevdere for sure
