  • To all those who criticize the flutist, when you've got chops like he has, you gotta give him a pass on the wild "showing off" improvisation. (He is clearly classically trained.) This guy has a nice tone, plays in tune and has technique that I can only dream of. While more aggressive (and less lyrical) than Hubert Laws, he's nonethelessis one of the more amazing jazz flutists I've heard in a long time. Hubert is the king and everyone aspires to him.

  • good Flute!!

    But So bad Pianist......

  • watch?v=QuWDf8tG9i8&NR=1

Specially concerning the balance between different players

Specially hear this bass player - How he fills IN . . .

  • I heard now 3 songs -

just to check if I'm right about your group

    ---

    and yes

for instance here : This song is very very good AFTER 02:00

before it 's an Ego demonstration and people feel that

at least , here in the west.

In a way : you are just to good, to brilliant, and that takes the swing/groove away . . . .

06:15 /06:22 to much of splendid technique !

  • ERIC DOLPHY is back!!

  • @FERDINANDSAN

    Dolphy was a terrible flutist.

Not a compliment. His tone was awful and always out of tune.

He was a good sax player. And Bass clarinet...but flute...no.

    Well done.

  • Is that japanese, . . all these 'skilled' yes exercises at the start when

    01:48

    makes us crying immediately

Fantastic tone and I love this 555555555----**********

Don't see my page but yes see the profile . . .

  • Beautiful, skilled playing.

  • nice playing of fast notes in the intro !. its really hard to find those who can play as smooth as that .

  • Nice jazz technique.

  • Great flutist!....the intro was much too long, but I kept watching and was happy to hear this wonderful flutist!.

No need for a drum in my opinion. What make flute is he playing? Keep up the great work!..
