It's a damn shame Matt went so far backwards and Muse's overall sound went flat from 2006-onwards. I tell you, if you compare a performance like this one to a recent gig(take Reading/Leeds for example) the newer performances are alway shit. Matt's voice just annoys the hell out of me now.

Where's the amazing effects on his voice? He tries too hard nowadays to sing proper and close to the mic(which exposes his 'nasal' sound), while performances like this one, where he has to try very hard and almost scream into the mic are the best I've ever seen. The Muse magic has somehow vanished. Damn shame.
