I've done the exact same steps as you have on both a CD and DVD and for some reason the 360 just says Open Tray. What could cause the 360 not to read the content on the disc? I'm using DVD-R and CD-R. Would this work just using a Flash Drive?

Put the disc in your computer and open up the root of the disc, the first folder you see should say content, if it doesn't try using a different burning program

this realy works. a cd-r or dvd-r works and make shure your ethernet cable is unpluged. idk why just do it. but great job and thanks for posting.

oh and if you dnt want all the crap you downloaded on your computer after your done just go to control pannel and go to add or remove files and start deleting

ok this works on a cd-rw ( thats all i had and i dont feel like going out to buy a dvd-r) but it loads very slow...takes about 1-2 minutes to load first part then about 1 minute to load after the first cutscene

I followed these steps to the letter and got the "Cant run JAPANESE WRITING" so I changed my console Locale to Japan and disconnected my Ethernet cable and it works :)

well they made it so that if you are signed on an xbox live american account, then you cant play it and if youre not signed in at all then you cant play it, so what you have to do is make another profile without xbox live in order to play it and if that doesnt work then the disk is damaged and you need to put it on another disk.

it worked for me, followed the steps correctly. i also found out for me that you can not be signed in into xbox live or it will not let you play it. so just unplug your Ethernet or wireless. worked perfectly after that.
