  • @guitargup It is also one of my favorite shots that I ever took too. Just for the simple reason it looks like he was looking at me and he is no longer here on Earth

  • @ljkfhb9257 Seether ''Driven Under''

  • That was a great video. Those photographs are wonderful. I loved seeing the bands. I loved seeing Styx, Van Halen, Kiss. Although like I said ALL the pictures were wonderful. I'd love to see what else you've got. All the bands you featured are great bands that we love. You certainly have some treasures. Thumbs up!!

  • Excellent photos, man. Of course since I'm a hardcore Van Halen fan, the VH photos stand out the most. But all of the photos really capture the moment. The quality is amazingly sharp and clear. Well done.

  • Thank you, your comment is well appreciated...

  • Great shots bro.

  • Thanks Voodoo!!

  • Yes it is!

  • Growing up in Memphis and seeing hundreds of concerts at the Mid South Coliseum, North Hall, Mud Island etc this brings back great memories. Cheers for posting! I

  • thank you man!!!!

  • Soooo...

The music is not by Killswitch Engage...

It's by the band Seether, Driven Under...

And I see discrepancies in the photos, its illegal to use copyrighted photos...

  • The music was Disabled by You Tube because of the BMG uproar. And for your information these are MY photos, I took them and they can only be copyrighted by ME!!! So go and use your ''Jr'' law somewhere else!

  • ok... So the music was disabled by youtube, but you have new music by another band?

And FYI, I am a concert photographer and I know copyright law.

I never said that these photos were not yours, I haven't searched these images...

If these pics are your photographs, you are a lucky man, to witness and capture these moments!

  • LoL Right On! from one Photographer to another. Have an awesome week!

  • Thanks!! You Too!!!!

  • Nice! Thats what I always wanted to do. Check out my early pics of Ted. 5*

  • Ok thanks!! I will!!

  • Thank You Lynottfan.phil was the man!

  • Very cool photographs, and a killer tune.

It's interesting that as a photographer you can get special access to get full frame close up shots of the artist, but the shots that really work well are the ones where you are in the audience, the fact that you can see the fans with their hands in the air really does add to the shot.

What would be cool is if you uploaded your shots of each group separately....starting with Thin Lizzy !!!!

    Nice work mate, lovely photos.

  • Lynottfan I do also want to say that before I ever got the job working for Mid South Concerts I was just a fan going to all the shows, but I was also sneaking my camera in and shooting my ass off trying to build my portfolio.

  • And I will say that I never had any trouble until Van Halen came to town in 84 (i think) and I was shooting on the second row and felt a tap on my shoulder. he got my film and as he walked away I stuck my hand in my pocket and grabbed another roll of Film:) and got some killer shots that night.

  • Now this was in the time of ASA 400 film , no flash and watching over my shoulder!! But those are the days I miss most.. The best times of my life and I estimate that I saw well over 300 big shows there. And I have some great memories in my photos
