I agree, Kavakos play this movement nicer but even a little too fast for my tastes.  This is too slow, and he's a little too fast.

I respect Hilary very much, she's really wonderful, but honestly I have to say Kavakos eats her for breakfast in this movement.... there is nothing rustic about this "bel canto" violin playing, stylistically out of place.
