  • @cestric it's german dude

  • Thanks 4 sharing this.

  • if evil is just the result of what happens when man does not have "god's love" present is his heart, then how come people of all religions, including christians, do evil things too? I mean, shouldn't christians have "god's love" present in their heart? In reality, there is no such thing as evil. We just like to define the things that happen around us as good or bad.

  • can someone tell me what language is it !???

  • Although I personally find this video to be disgusting for a multitude of reasons, I appreciate pangeanet reminding us that this story is fictional.

At least the video uploader has some honesty in this case, even if the people who originally produced the video do not.

  • this is not true.

Einstein was not a Christian believer as suggested by this video

  • If you actually read the above description it states that this story is fictional regarding it being Albert Einstein. The clip is only posted as to the value of the thoughts being presented. Thank you for your comment.

  • @amrendra. Einstein "a Christian"? Where is that suggested, exactly?

  • in the philippines private school have religion lesson especially in christian school so we are very thankful because we have learn the word of God every week i wish all school in the world have teaching word of God so they will know that God really love us all

  • Thank you for answering and clarifying your postion. The character in the video doesn't say evil is the absence of good, he changes it and says evil is what happens when god is no in a mans heart. Automatically implying that good couldn't exist without god. the philosophical stand point that evil is the absence of good, isn't the same as evil is the absence of god in a persons heart. I am enjoying the debate however :)

  • There are two characters the entire exchange is less than 60 seconds. We watched the clip we know what was said. It is true the child states that "evil is what happens when we do not have God's love" which to me equates to good. As God's love is the essence of good in it's purest form.

I appreciate your comments though I am not here to prove or disprove anything to you as I stated previously. I only post clips to share and all are free to comment and I occasionally respond if I so choose.

  • Sorry I find this a little silly, firstly it's fake not something that was said by Einstein.

But if we leave that aside for a moment. Doesn't the point contradict itself. Cold is the absence of Heat, Dark is the absence of light? So Evil is the absence of good, what you are implying is that good can only exist because of god. If I remember correctly God created light and dark, wouldn't that mean god created good and evil.

Actually it doesn't, just means god doesn't exist at all.

  • Thanks for your comment. If you read my description I stated this is not actually Albert Einstein I just wanted to share the clip. The character states that cold is the absence of heat, dark the absence of light, and that evil is the absence of good. I do not follow your logic that this means god doesn't exist. Simply making the statement does not make it true. The only way to find whether God exists is to search and find out for yourself. Personally I know that he does live and is very real.

  • @smpreet

I thought the point was do denounce that God created evil by suggesting that evil was never created at all.

But what defines someone as evil anyway? If you create one evil thing you're suddenly evil? That's what the professor in the video is implying. What if you create 90 million good things? Or what if you create 90 million good things and 90 million evil things? Are you neutral?

  • This is great...cold is the absence of heat, darkness is the absence of light, evil is the absence of God...God is great...Thank you for posting..

  • always loved that story. made me kind of sad to find out it wasn't true.

  • I know I felt exactly the same however it doesn't make the points made any less valid and that was what I loved about it the most.

  • totally!

  • @carlasue88 Story, or a historical fact?..Idiot

  • from the mouth of babes.....

  • Smart kid.

While Einstein may not have believed in a God, this understanding is one that many positioned atheists have yet to surpass.

Either way, I don't care who is on what side, it's completely irrelevant to having any proper understanding of God, religion and world views our selves.
