I used to have that system. It makes a great stereo system, but the only things I didn't like was that they don't have a headphone jack and there is no power button. You either have to leave it on or turn off your power strip when not in use. I did like the mute feature--you touch the + and - buttons at the same time.

my laptop has built in harman kardon speakers in it and they are amazing, and my cousin just got these and these speakers are just AWESOME

These speakers are amazing the sound quality is the best i have ever heard from a computer. they look fragile and skinny but these speakers are weighty and sturdy. the bass is glorious and you really feel it.

I would recommend these speakers to everyone. if you are looking for some good 2.1 pc speakers these are the best you will find. Go buy them!

@123CloudStrife i have those other speakers he has on his desk. they re harman kardon hk 165 speakers. i have my altec lansing vs 4121 speakers pluged into the subwoofer port on the back of the harman kardon speakers (baught the harman kardon speakers for 3.99 at a thift store but there was no subwoofer there at all) they sound amazing

Typically you would put the sub on the floor...the distance makes the bass a little fuller and makes for a more realistic and warm sound. If its close to you it just sounds too in your face. So, put your subs on the floor. :)
