  • @sheilabakerF Oh, aren't you clever? *applause* Or you could just ask nicely and I'll send you the audio, you stupid bastard.

  • Great tone and well played. Added to favs :)

  • Thanks for the nice comments everyone!

  • that tone is sick! great job mate =D

  • loved it

  • Really tasty solo, can't stop watching it !!

  • That is just excellent!

  • Wow i really like it Was that a Cornford amp or ?...Thanks

  • Yeah, Cornford Harlequin :)

  • @sfocata Verrry nice! Not Gilmour styled very much but you have a pretty cool style of your own. I must say I liked it a lot. Would you be obliged to doing some instructional videos?

    Thanks

  • Inspiration Shine On You Crazy Diamond?

  • Excellent stuff.......

  • Buddy, this is amazing. Very melodic. You are a very talented guitarist!!

  • sei splendido..bravissimo!!!

  • Nice job! What effects did you use?

  • nice record, but i miss the gilmoure sound

  • hell yes!!

  • Beautiful fraseggio, very nice touch!!

  • fraseggio?

  • Fraseggio is an italian term used in music, like vibrato, piano, allegro, moderato, bravo etc. etc.. the translation is difficult.. is like "chain of notes, phrase".

  • Somewhere in the middle of David Gilmour and Andrew Latimer.

    Very nice playin'

    Post some more pls

  • Dude, you've got to post some more videos-you've got a lot to offer-very nice.

  • Thank you! You're right, it's soooo long since I recorded these videos...

  • extremely well done very gilmour-esque

  • get stoned and do it over

  • whats the music playing in the background....howd u make it or w.e it is

  • Really Nice tone! Great playing too, Pretty close to Gilmour; tip though, David leaves a lot of space between every lick in his solos while you fill most of the gaps, less is more in Pink Floyd.

Not dissing your playing though, just trying to give some constructive critique.

  • Well, that's assuming you're not just plugged straight into your mac (which you may be)

  • You're a good player! I'm interested in what type of setup you have there? (amp, pedals, etc)

  • Very simple on this video... the 335 is plugged straight into a Cornford Harlequin amp, then miked (can't remember which microphone, possibly an Oktava MK012) before going into Logic.

  • I am high...that was some shit (In a good way my man) That was mesmerizing!!

  • Thanks mate!

  • Great version, you´ve got excellent style, my version is not as good as yours, but you can check it if you want:-)

  • Awesome and nice music!

But I would have loved to hear you play it on a Fender Strat instead.

  • damn good playing man

  • Not bad man... Not Gilmourish to me, besides the backing track... but virtuous, and impressive. Sounds good on that 335.

  • just beautifull

  • What I wouldn't give to have your ability... and that amp ;)

  • Pretty good! I also like the painting in the back lol. Is it a Mark Rothko?

  • Well spotted :)

  • Sounds great and looks even better. I've been insearch for a red gibson 335 for a while now-still no luck.I've got a 62 ri strat that looks the same as yours, and my Lp looks like yours also. Is that a custom shop Elegant? Mine is a 98' red burst. What type of amp are you playing thru? Any other lefty guitars?

  • Thanks! Lefty 335s do pop up on Ebay from time to time, but you have to be quick! The LP is a Tokai LS95 and there's a mongrel Strat in another of my vids (also got an Ibanez RG550). The amp on this video is a Cornford Harlequin.

  • great!

  • Ade, even though you still play the guitar the wrong way 'round, you still kick my azz on the thing. Nice job! Going to poke around some more for your stuff. :)

    -Jehle

  • I like your music

    kld,

    Saudi Arabia

  • I love your choice of notes

  • you are my new idol

    =P

    nice playing there

  • luv that FINE GTR ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

    five stars man

  • Just to clarify... the intention wasn't to sound like Gilmour or Moore. That's just how I play over a slow minor blues backing. However, thanks for the nice comments, chaps!

  • Def more Gary Moore, Gilmour bends hole shots that are 3 to 5 notes up and hits and maintains several notes with only 1 pick stroke. And the lack of right hand vibroto is an issue also. I cut and re-bent my fender arm to match Davids. And it makes it so you do not have to let your hand leave the bridge area to use it. Just being smaller means it takes more lbs of force per inch of travel though. But works beautifully.

  • excellent really nicely played

  • that was really really good. congrats.

  • Excellent man... Excellent tone... with single coils it would sound more gimourish... Cheers

  • MAN YOU GOT SOME TONE THERE .Any chance of telling us how you got it . Great playng aswel very tastfull and geat feel .

  • Thanks mate! It's just a Gibson 335 plugged into a Cornford Harlequin.

  • Very nice playing. I think you sound way more like Gary Moore <including your tone> than Gilmour. Rock on!!!

  • He doesnt look as tall on the newsgroup.

  • I guess that's why he's got the pair of steps....

  • Very very nice. I enjoy listenig to your playing. I am working on this clip as well. Shine on! Cheers!

  • Almost sounds like a Snowy White rendition of a Gilmour solo. Very nice!

I'd like to hear that on a strat.

  • Nice one Ade. Doing the audio and video like that really worked well. Lovely playing too.

  • Oh yes, and my regular diet of small children keeps my skin looking clear and toned. The parents will insist on letting them run free in Woolworths, after all...

  • Ade, you look about 14. Have you been at the placenta and Royal Jelly stuffing this Christmas?

  • 'Ello, Mr Clarke! ;-)

  • :-)

  • Wonderful tone Ade :)

What an awful colour the walls are ;) (there's always one ...)

  • LOVING THE TONE AND NOTE SELECTION WELL..great job "shine on"

  • That's my bin!

  • Fantastic note choice and tone MrC.

I appreciate the 'poly' bag on the door knob too.

    ;)

  • Very nice!

  • Shine on. Nice hollow body too.
