@sfocata Verrry nice! Not Gilmour styled very much but you have a pretty cool style of your own. I must say I liked it a lot. Would you be obliged to doing some instructional videos?
Fraseggio is an italian term used in music, like vibrato, piano, allegro, moderato, bravo etc. etc.. the translation is difficult.. is like "chain of notes, phrase".
Really Nice tone! Great playing too, Pretty close to Gilmour; tip though, David leaves a lot of space between every lick in his solos while you fill most of the gaps, less is more in Pink Floyd.
Not dissing your playing though, just trying to give some constructive critique.
Very simple on this video... the 335 is plugged straight into a Cornford Harlequin amp, then miked (can't remember which microphone, possibly an Oktava MK012) before going into Logic.
Sounds great and looks even better. I've been insearch for a red gibson 335 for a while now-still no luck.I've got a 62 ri strat that looks the same as yours, and my Lp looks like yours also. Is that a custom shop Elegant? Mine is a 98' red burst. What type of amp are you playing thru? Any other lefty guitars?
Thanks! Lefty 335s do pop up on Ebay from time to time, but you have to be quick! The LP is a Tokai LS95 and there's a mongrel Strat in another of my vids (also got an Ibanez RG550). The amp on this video is a Cornford Harlequin.
Ade, even though you still play the guitar the wrong way 'round, you still kick my azz on the thing. Nice job! Going to poke around some more for your stuff. :)
Just to clarify... the intention wasn't to sound like Gilmour or Moore. That's just how I play over a slow minor blues backing. However, thanks for the nice comments, chaps!
Def more Gary Moore, Gilmour bends hole shots that are 3 to 5 notes up and hits and maintains several notes with only 1 pick stroke. And the lack of right hand vibroto is an issue also. I cut and re-bent my fender arm to match Davids. And it makes it so you do not have to let your hand leave the bridge area to use it. Just being smaller means it takes more lbs of force per inch of travel though. But works beautifully.
Oh yes, and my regular diet of small children keeps my skin looking clear and toned. The parents will insist on letting them run free in Woolworths, after all...
@sheilabakerF Oh, aren't you clever? *applause* Or you could just ask nicely and I'll send you the audio, you stupid bastard.

Well, that's assuming you're not just plugged straight into your mac (which you may be)

You're a good player! I'm interested in what type of setup you have there? (amp, pedals, etc)

Not bad man... Not Gilmourish to me, besides the backing track... but virtuous, and impressive. Sounds good on that 335.
