  • To toby; you can get fish sauce at most local supermarkets now. Giant has it, even Redner' Warehouse markets. Just go to international food section. They sell it. Ive made dishes using a reg fry pan. Ive even used olive oil/ couple Tbls/med heat, & it came out great, although it wasnt deep fried. Still good.

(And though no one cares, I personally think Thai tea tastes like coffee.)

  • @jenacorn i agree. i thought at first that it was made with a combination of chinese oolong tea with coffee

  • if you cant find the thai iced tea mix hes talking about, all the thai iced tea i have ever had was just strong jasmine tea, so you should be able to use that

Your my inspiration in being a chef.

I want to be able to work in any country.

  • What does EPIC MEAN?

  • kinda like great

  • Hi Kai. I've been watching lots of your videos and you make my mouth drool all the time!

Id like to ask you a few questions though:

Most of your food is made in a wok. Is that the only way to do it?

Second: This "Fish sauce" you use in lots of your recipes, is there another ingredient you can use instead of this? I dont live anywhere near an asian market and im abit sad i dont have this, since i got most of the other ingredients.

    Keep on cooking!

    -Toby

  • To: Tobyskov

    1. Yes, I use wok alot. wok can stir fry, deep fried, boil, and steam your foods..

    2. "fish sauce" is salty liquid made from fishs, squids, or crabs by add in water and salt. If you want I can sent you one for free.

    KAI

  • I ws just wondering what do you edit your videos with?

  • Man, Thai tea is mighty tasty.

  • I thought Thai ice tea has condensed milk in it.

  • If your tea is hot you can use condensed milk. But, Iced Tea is cold so I use half & half.

    KAI

  • Thank you for your kind clarification!!

  • I cut the portions in half and use a Tea Ball Infuser no straining and less mess and no chance of clumsy me spilling hot tea all over me or the counter :)

  • woo i love thai tea! <3

i like putting lime in mine though haha

  • Wow that looks awesome. Would it be ok to use regular tea?

  • Thai's tea had more flavor than your regular tea bag. I buy mine only $2.75 for 10 oz whitch can make about 32 glass.

  • i LOVE thai ice tea. always wanted to know how to make it...

what did you use to strain it? any special kind of cloth?

  • White table cloth or you can buy strainer in any supermarket.
