Hey bro, just thought I'd let you know the reason that they make the Wegner blade skinny, fat, then skinny again is because it protrudes the part of the blade out further that most people use as the cutting edge, so it make it much easier to cut things.

I know in swiss its pronounced venger, but some english people call it wenger. Whatever your preference is thats fine, but it seems like I cant win no matter how I pronounce it. But to tell you the truth, most of the time ill say venger, so im with u.

Victorinox and Wenger Swiss Army Knifes, Are all from the same company, They split production stamps 50/50 between each years production, It`s done to keep neutral when selling in other countries, The obvious "tells " That it`s a "copy " ( It would be unfair to call them a fakes) Is the price for a start, But I found the main problem is the "action " Of the tools, They soon start to "grind " When opening and shutting, That`s seems to be the last part China can`t get right with them.

i recently bought a victorinox cadet at my local store it was very cheap so for some reason i started thinking it was fake, but it has everything the logo the metal, it says "victorinox switzerland stainless" on the knife its all metal, but i got it for half the price, so whats your opinion?

You'll find legitimate Vic and Wenger knives on reputable knife dealers' websites or Amazon.

The blade on that Swiss Flash/Bit/whatever they're calling it at the moment looks like the blade Victorinox puts on the Classic, which is a very useful, functional blade. The other "blade" is a nail file with a screwdriver tip.

BTW, the Vic shield you keep showing is not the only version you might encounter on current production or older Vic knives. There are at least three shapes you might find on Victorinox knives.

Tang stamp. Some older SAKs might be missing the logo/shield/emblem, though the imprint should still be visible in the plastic. But if the tang stamp says anything other than Victorinox or Wenger, and Swiss Made or Made in Switzerland, it's a fake. Simple as that.

BTW--Wenger--the "n" comes before the "g". All that is with the blade is they gave it more belly than Victorinox does.

you ca see it i the scissor spring, one had nobs on the hadle, swiss army doesnt do that unless its like the victorinox soldier wich has a different grip all together. If you could feel the two fakes in comparison you would see whhat I mean. If its not tip top quality, odds are its not a swiss.

Why do you think that the second knife is a Swiss army knife fake??? Because grips are red? The second knife is a simple classic pocket knife, what isnt a fake of Swiss army knife.
