this tune reminds me of being 17-18 yrs old again, the girl I was with for almost 5 yrs up through my early 20s and how the lyrics struck a chord with me at the time after our breakup. nowadays i'd add a verse to this tune reflecting how better off it made me that she left. also my buddy used to be an assistant manager of a movie theater. when he'd close up I'd arrive with my accoustic and we'd play this tune and zeppelin's hey hey what can i do in the middle of the theater. great times.

I was a sophmore in HS when this song came out in '91.I got so into this song, my friends (especially those I was in a band with), seriously thought something was wrong with me, and ended up hating the song!

Still to this day, I have never covered / played his song 'LIVE' & it's probably bc I love it so much.

The song's 2nd only to 'House of Pain' by Faster Pussycat, as the # 1 Glam Ballad of all time. The 'Hollywood Vampires' Album it's on, is also a 10.
