Honestamente si vemos las puntuaciones desde el inicio, se ve que la favorita nunca fue Venezuela. Que pasó al final, solo lo saben las personas dentro de la organización, probablemente el mismo Donald Trump, quien tiene la carta final. Pero es mas que obvio que del jurado no era la favorita Venezuela, en todo caso Republica Dominicana tenia todas las de ganar. Es cuestion de logica.

Para mi Venezuela estaba para el 3er. lugar (en traje de noche) hasta que comenzaron la etapa de preguntas y respuestas, despues de eso era obvio que ganaria, las demas contestaron lo mismo 3 veces jaja, pero ella si supo dar una respuesta concreta.

@MASWJWORLD i think Venus Raj was a bet to win the crown that year. she had great media exposure during the pre-pageant. her unique seemingly dark beauty was very much liked, and an asian. it's been quite a while since an asian won. when philippines was called in the top 15 and top 5, she was always announced in a strategic number (last to be announced). & the camera spent a bit more time showing her. but, unfortunately, she didn't give a good answer in the Q&A. the rest is history.

You know, USA's gown is actually really beautiful. The main problem is that the color doesn't pop because the set is in the same hue of blue. She gets completely lost. The shoulder sash also just overwhlems her.

USA should received highest scoring from the judges, even that dress color is bad. Unbelievable both highest in swimsuit and evening gown at Miss USA, Kristen fall to 10th position at Miss Universe. (7.550, the lowest score both swimsuit & gown in Top 15).

Dominican Republic deserved to win, followed by France, Kosovo, Puerto Rico and Australia. Venezuela shouldn't even had made the final five.
