Take it from a Former Marching Eagle that "Lame White Band" as someone once called us had a single sound that sounded good togehter. I am only sorry that you guys could not hear the band back in the seventies when it was in its prime and we were huge. The woodwinds would have taken up most of the space that you fit your entire band into on the stands. One Band One Sound It isn't all about you its all about the band. Right here in this video the band sounds bad.

The trumpets are blaring the woodwinds might as well be at home because you can't hear them. The trombones are weak and the other horns are out of tune. The bass drummer is ok but the rest of the drumline leaves a little .... no a lot to be desired. ONE BAND ONE SOUND If you don't know what that means then watch drumline. Musicianship is more important than flash. Twirling the cymbals and dancing may seem cool but if what you are dancing to sucks then no one will care how well you danced to it.
