Exactly. That's the same exact reason Will Smith never rapped about growing up in the hood: he grew up in West Philly in a suburb. When people diss him saying he isn't hard, they have to realize he didn't have to deal with most of the troubles of the hood like a lot of us. He was lucky enough to have parents that were in good standing and wanted the best they could give to their kids.
