On this particular tour he did Welcome to my Nightmare, the Awakening, Steven, Only Women Bleed, Ballad of Dwight Fry, Killer and I Love The Dead as one long performance (though he didn't sing I Love The Dead). I reckon he does this because it lets him get more songs into the setlist. Bands have curfews they have to meat and if he did all of those songs whole it would take up a huge part of the set.

@DrFuckenstien On this DVD he does 28 songs in an hour and a half. If he did all of them at their normal length then the setlist would have been way smaller. He also used the medley as sort of a mini-play, with a loose story running through the songs. Lately he's moved away from that though and gone onto different set structures.
