  • how much?

  • @bottz2 800USD

  • @WengsTechToys oh i thaught you said 800 pounds i was freaking out

  • @WengsTechToys really? That seems kinda low for this type of technology

  • can you use another headset with it?

  • @top5bybigcat As in for audio? There is no other output unfortunately for audio. I would also like to use alternate headset for audio. There might be a way for you to output audio track from the other HDMI out port - but that starts to get annoying.

  • hey one question: does this works on a USA PS3 even if this from the UK?

  • @MrMontehappy The headset works on all units that output via HDMI. My headset is from Sony USA and I ran it via my Australian PS3 and Laptop.

  • I meant to say confused not focused lol

  • Just received mine today so far it's awesome! Feels like your really watching a movie in the theatre. The only thing I'm focused about is that when I try to play 3D movies my PS3 is saying it does not support 3D and when I play games there's no sound.

  • "Seems like evewyfing is made in Japan, awosum!!" HAHAHAHAHAHA...HAH..haaha..

  • Hi Dude

Some people says that using this glasses too much causes blindness !!! is that right or its just bullshits ?!

  • @VampireKiller999 I've been using it often and it seems okay. It may degrade your vision like all things (tv, monitors, displays etc) but I dont feel like its having any permanent effects at this time.

  • Sorry.... That was the point of my comment, not a pop at you.... Before i spend £800 sheets on a unknown gadget I would like a real person to give his views and not a Sony puppet.

  • 2nd video of somebody taking it out the box... Wow. Can someone plug it in and give a proper review..

  • @djpopz You can always buy it and give us your review? Then I can give my review also after I spend time during the holiday period with friends and family whilst juggling full time work.

  • Hey Weng; have you already tried this with the PS3 - As a sim-racing gamer, I'm especially interested in using a gadget like this with PS3 racing games together with my Fanatec GT3 FF wheel... Would be great not to use a TV anymore... Tell me if you have tried this with a racing game (Dirt3, GT5 etc.) on PS3; Would very much like to hear from you what your thoughs are about the HMZ-T1 in combination with PS3 racing games... Thanks for this great review!

  • @Stone2D3D Will do thanks for the feedback. Been wanting to make a full review for some time but have been busy lately. Since I have a few days off I'll be making it soon! I will definitely put in a racing bit for you!

  • @WengsTechToys Thank you kindly Weng! I will look out for your review; Merry Christmas and a good 2012 to you, mate!

  • no top comment now's my chance-----> crap filled vagina

  • Do i always need the hdmi-box with the power-cable, or is it possible to pull in just the HMD in a hdmi-notebook and be mobile?

  • @Batoulo Unfortunately, you need the Sony hdmi box to power and run the unit.

  • Hey Weng! How is it? I really am curious about the video quality. I hear the response time is under 1 ms so have you gamed with it yet? Give me your thoughts! Have you been strapped to that thing so long you can't even write a review?

  • @Newbloom55407 Hey Buddy, thanks for tuning in! I have been extremely busy this week finishing off some work. Working 2 jobs non stop to pay off my gadget addiction! I hope to get a review up real soon. After I get another iPhone repaired as I can't do work without a proper phone...

Video Quality is amazing no doubt about it, the issue with the HMD lies with the focus.

  • ok cheers

  • are you using a step down transformer to power this on 240v,or does the unit have a universal switch?

  • @vro2006 The unit supports Australian 240V. All I used was an international adapter straight into my AC wall outlet :)

  • @WengsTechToys That's great! This is the first and only confirmation I could find anywhere on the internet that this has a universal power supply inside. Many people predicted that it does but nobody wanted to be the first to test it. Can you please confirm again that you bought this from the US (so it says 110V on the box) and it works on 240V without a voltage converter? Thanks!

  • @arthur78 100% got it from Sony USA. Plugged into my home power source right now directly running 240V @ 50hz. You have nothing to worry about.

  • How the hell did you buy it a month before the actual release?! I'm not even sure it's released!!

  • @Ryuuken24 Its available in the USA however I'm not sure about stock levels now. I pre-ordered the item before official launch and it still got delayed for 2 weeks after launch.

  • How much did it cost you?

  • @anthonyhuynyh Retails for $799.99 USD via Sony + shipping + shipping insurance to Australia via Priceusa

  • @WengsTechToys

Does shipping cost you a lot?

  • @minehly It wasn't too bad posting the item from USA to AU. 7 pounds via USPS. A bit over $100 AU for shipping.

  • apple will redo this and do it right..slimmer..wireless...and lighter! (then samsung will copy them lol)

  • @jimijackson Hopefully :D it's only a good thing for us consumers!

  • @jimijackson

If apple does it will dramatically overprice it so much that people will avoid the technology all together.

  • @GearZNet The power that Apple have over the supply chains are nuts. They pretty much go to a business and tell them that they want to give them 1 million+ cash for all their stock and loyalty forever with crazy unfair conditions. The products MAY be better but we are paying a premium for it.

  • @GearZNet yes because apples pricing has diminished their sales :p but that aside..if they design it better..they show the other manufacturers how its done. just as they did with the iphone. then others can make it cheaper ;)

  • @jimijackson

which we all know that they can't I mean just look at their shitty ass laptops and computers and that sorry excuse for a OS what was it crappanther or leobiopolarbear well something along those lines. There stuff is pure shit all they're good for is ipods and iphone..

and on top of that apple isn't really 'that' innovative it just has a super huge fanboy base, beyond that they are just glossy shit tops (laptops) and cancer patients.

    Somewhat innovation+overprice+fan-boys=success

  • Nice
