Um...well there's nothing grammatically wrong with the sentence. When he says 'We're dead', I believe he means something along the lines of 'we're as good as dead'.

There were probably daleks that were protecting davros. then they probably hid with him and then at the end of Evolution of the Daleks there was only 1 dalek left. davros is probably now returning to get revenge and become the controller of all daleks or sommat like that
