i actually have a cookie gun...and i gotta say its more of a bi or duo tasker...great for cookies but u can also use them as piping guns...(although i prefer to use a piping bag)

I made the Peppermint pinwheel cookies, turned out sweet as a nut - albeit without the crusged candycanes because we don't get any in England :)

Wish I could find coloured Powders though, the pitiful amount they give tyou in baking shops is derisory :P

If they have Hobby Lobby franchises in the UK, look there; they're surprisingly well-stocked in their cake decorating isle. And how do you not have candy canes in England? We're saturated with 'em here in the states; I doubt customs would confiscate them.

I had a quick look on Google this morning but no joy so far, will have a longer look after I get to work...

Candy canes really aren't a big seller here, aside from in speciality sweet shops. Certainly don;t see them in supermarkets, not even around Christmas

I'm not a huge mint fan, so I usually go for cherry (which is also tricky because half of them taste like cough syrup and the others are rainbow-spiraled gold).
