I reckon this was the worst of the series. It is disappointing on many levels such as taking away crash mode, no aftertouch, unlocking cars was no challenge (track down this car and crash him to get this car) instead of one on one battles. Burnout 3 is still the best.

the ikusa samurai and its other form i think the ikusa gt is the imitation of the nissan skyline. ( a.k.a. my favorite real life car ).

the black marked man cars are called hunter civilians and are imitations of dodge chargers not nissan skylines. this car can be unlocked one you obtain theburnout license and one you complete the hunter citizon burning route. i sholud know because i am 13years old and already beat the game with 100% percent comletion.

Man, this game sucks as soon as you loose a race you have to drive all the way back, no chance to restart. Plus, you don't initially know which direction to take. Guess they created it like this to increase the playing time. Sick bastards..

i didnt get this game from ps+.. i actually bought it on the release and i have seen thise game change from a great game to 1 of the best games ever. its just amazing how much effort criterion games pt in this game.. they gave us so much free updates, patches, new vehicles and awesome dlc! even though some of the dlc costs money its all worth it! especially the big surf island! burnout paradise is definitly in my list of best games ever!

This game is awesome, but it was a MAJOR turn off when me and my brother unwrapped it together, with our controllers already on hand, just to find out there was no splitscreen mode... How come they made a RACING game with no splitscreen mode? Racing games are social games by excelency! =(((

@smokinbull123 Online passes exist because it's the only way for the developers to get money from a resell. When you sell a game to Gamestop for $10 and they turn around and sell if for $45, that's $35 profit for Gamestop, and $0 for the makers.

Splitscreen is dying because games are pushing consoles to the max. The game basically has to render everything twice. That's why Halo and Call Of Duty can do it, but something with a large world such as Burnout Paradise or Battlefield can't.

Games would only have to render everything more than once if the game looks the same in spltscreen multiplayer/co-op as it does in online multiplayer but if the devs make the game look slightly not as good, split screen multiplayer/co-op can be done. And no one cares if the game looks slightly not as good in offline split screen multiplayer.

this game has very nice crash physics, unike forza and gt, in this game, if you hit a wall at 200mph, you die like you hit a wall at 200mph, you dont lose a door or something silly, your car flattens like a pancake.

@Liechengsos1 Thats because bp have imagined cars. Car Manifacturer as GM, Volkswagen, Ferrari and Renault don't want to see their cars go crash and fall apart. Bucks me, it's the freaking marketing department. That's why they crash in games like Saboteur, Just Cause2 and BP, but not in racers with licenced cars.
