thanks a lot dude great lessons ..... it really opens up a new dimension of playing and writing ............ one of my fav guitarists who use chromatics in his writing especially rhythm guitar is dave mustiane of megadeth great stuff you guys should check it out ......... thanks again man :)
another play who uses alot of chromatics in riffs is Jerry Cantrell, especially in AiC. Them Bones, Dam That River and Junkhead are the riffs that come to my mind when thinkin of chromatics.
ive gotta say andrew you are such an influence to me. even tho my music is pretty much as heavy as it gets sometimes, your lessons still help me mix my guitar playing up a little by including aspects of other genres, im 16 and one day i hope i can understand my guitar as well as you understand yours. thanks again , you are a living legend :D
Randy Rhoads loved to throw in chromatic connections like this! That's who I thought of instantly when I heard your opening playing. Cool!

Why does it feel like this would sound much better if it was more diatonic?

@RingoFreakingStarr
VERY Cool. I've used them in my guitars since 1992. And, still
continue to buy them for new guitars to this very day.
Thanks for watching,
